The in-form Deepak Niwas Hooda holds the key for Pune in today’s do-or-die clash

The penultimate game of the league phase in Pro Kabaddi League season 4 will see Puneri Paltan go head to head against the Bengaluru Bulls at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi. Puneri Paltan kept their playoff hopes alive with a thrilling win against Dabang Delhi, yesterday. To seal a place in the final four, the season 3 semi-finalists have to beat Bengaluru Bulls in today’s match. With 31 points, The Bulls from Bengaluru is out of the playoff race, as they look to end the season on a winning note.

The live streaming for the Pro Kabaddi League season 4 game between the Puneri Paltan vs Bengaluru Bulls  will be available on from 20:00 IST. The match will be telecasted live from Thyagaraj Sports Complex, Delhi  and will be aired on Star Sports 2 (HD) in English and Star Sports 3 (HD) in Hindi.

The all-rounder Deepak Niwas Hooda dispatched the Delhi defence yesterday with 17 raid points. Deepak also won many duels against the in-form Sachin Shingade and moreover, the 23-year-old is  seven points short of becoming the third player in Pro Kabaddi season 4 to reach 100 raid points.

The in-form Deepak will face a stern battle against the cornerstones of Bengaluru defence Surender Nada and Mohit Chillar. Former Bengal raider Nitin Tomar and Ajay Thakur should complement Deepak Niwas Hooda in the attack.

The vulnerable looking Pune defence have to step up in today’s do-or-die battle against Bengaluru Bulls.  Ravindra Pahal and Joginder Narwal haven’t made any impact in the last three matches and moreover, the duo struggled against Bengaluru’s ace-raider  Rohit Kumar in the previous clash.

Without any doubt, the Bengaluru attack will look to target the corner defenders . Although Pune won against Delhi yesterday, Manjeet Chhillar was really quiet and lost many duels with the Delhi attackers. It’s high time for Manjeet to put a stellar show against his old team.

When these two teams met earlier, Rohit Kumar’s stunning super raid turned the tide in favour of Bengaluru in the final moments of the game. With 84 raid points to his name, Rohit looks set to trouble the Pune defence, once again in today’s battle.

Mohit Chillar’s heroics in the buzzer raid  handed Bengaluru a win against U Mumba. The star defender with 7 tackle points played a huge role in deciding the outcome against Puneri Paltan in the previous clash at SVPI stadium in Mumbai. Mohit along with his skipper Surender Nada will look to stop Pune’s attacking threat.

If Pune beats Bengaluru in today’s match they will seal a spot in the playoffs, however, if Pune loses to Surender Nada's men in today's match and Mumbai beats Delhi in the final league match, then Pune will be out of the competition.

The head to head stands 4-3 in favour of Bengaluru, including a narrow two win against Pune in season 4. Let’s see whether Pune overcome the Bengaluru threat, this time, to seal a spot in the final four
