Gujarat's coach Manpreet Singh once again successfully managed in building a balanced team for the seventh season

Gujarat Fortune Giants, one of the four teams which made a debut in season five, is by far counted as one of the most successful teams in the Pro Kabaddi League. This franchise, as you can tell by the name, represents Gujarat.

Having just played two seasons till date, they have been a constant hot favorite. Coached by ace former Patna Pirates player and PKL 3 champion Manpreet Singh, the team never went wrong with their choices.

In the fifth season, they looked amateur on paper as according to Manpreet's strategy, Giants inculcated a plethora of young guns on the squad, which later on shook everyone with their mind-blowing game.

A few such products of Gujarat are the best find of season 5, Sachin Tanwar, Parvesh Bhainswal, and Sunil Kumar. Manpreet also took a couple of underrated players and helped them find their true worth.

However, in seasons 5 and 6, Gujarat played the finals against Patna Pirates and Bengaluru Bulls with no luck. They somehow managed to stumble in the second half and ended up losing both their chances.

Singh and said before the auctions that he will try and create the best team he possibly can and try to bring the coveted trophy home in the approaching season.

Talking of the auction they just participated in on the 8th and 9th of April, 2019, it was a success. Retaining team captain Sunil Kumar and Sachin before the auctions was smart.

Since there is no Sunil without Parvesh, they used the Final Bid Match card and bought Bhaiswal for ₹75 lakhs, which also made him the costliest player on the squad.

Doing a mini-analysis, we can say that the team has enough skilled raiders who have shown their magic in the past. With coach Manpreet Singh's guidance, they can also end on the top by the end of the season.

Defenders such as Ruturaj Koravi, Parvesh Bhainswal, and Sunil have also been faithful for the Giants in the past. All-rounders too can prove to be of extreme worth once the season commences.

Now let's have a look at the list of players bought by Gujarat's team management at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 auction:
