Siddharth Desai will be up against his former team when Telugu Titans face off against U Mumba in the 84th match of this season’s Pro Kabaddi 2019.
Telugu Titans came agonisingly close to a memorable victory but were denied by Pawan Sehrawat’s bravery. It was Siddharth Desai who turned the match on its head in the final few minutes with a massive 6 point raid (4+2) that was followed by another super raid. He scored a whopping 23 raid points in the game and almost single-handedly took his team to a win. His core strength has been instrumental in most of his escapes, and that is what makes him such a lethal raider.
Telugu Titans have won just 4 matches this season and their over-reliance on Siddharth has eventually been exposed. In their last game against Bengaluru, Rakesh Gowda was their 2nd best raider with just 4 points. That is 19 less than what Siddharth managed.
