Manjeet Chillar has probably been the best all-rounder in PKL history and is one of the most popular players.

He captained the Bengaluru Bulls to the playoffs in the first 2 seasons where he was the top defender in Season 1 and Season 3.

They lost narrowly in the Season 2 finals to U Mumba. He became the captain of the Puneri Paltan in Season 3 and Season 4 and led that side to their first playoffs.

He has won the MVP award as well and has amassed 491 points in 83 matches out of which 216 are raid points and 275 are tackle points.

His raiding appearances have reduced and he's more of a cover defender now. He has one of the best and strongest blocks in the league and he prefers playing the left cover position.

He has had a good season so far with the Tamil Thalaivas scoring 36 points from 9 games, 4 of them raid points and the rest tackle points.

Captained Bengal Warriors for Season 5 and Season 6

Surjeet Singh PO is arguably the best right cover defender in the world right now. He started off his PKL career with U Mumba in Season 3 to replace Vishal Mane and played for them for 2 seasons.

He was signed by the Bengal Warriors in Season 5 and was made the side's captain. He proved that he was a brilliant captain by leading them to the playoffs where they lost narrowly to the Patna Pirates in Qualifier 2 after topping Zone B in the group stage.

He scored 86 points in his 2 seasons for U Mumba with an average of 3.46 points per game. He bettered this in his stint with the Bengal Warriors with an average of 3.78 points per match which is phenomenal stats, especially for a cover defender.

He was retained by Bengal for INR 80.3 Lakh and continues being the captain of the side. They have had a mixed campaign so far winning four out of eight games.


#6 Surender Nada (Haryana Steelers)

Captained Bengaluru Bulls (Season 4) and Haryana Steelers(Season 5 and Season 6)

Surender Nada is arguably the best-left corner defender that India has produced and along with Iranian Fazel Atrachali, is probably the best in the world.

He was part of the indomitable U Mumba defence along with his partner in crime, right corner Mohit Chillar for the first 3 seasons.

Both of them moved to the Bengaluru Bulls in Season 4 and had a good season but the team failed to make the playoffs.

Both of them were signed by Haryana Steelers in the PKL 5 Auction and Nada was named as their captain.

Nada was excellent for the Steelers and topped the defenders' chart for Season 5 as Haryana made the playoffs.

He scored 80 tackle points while his counterpart in the right side, Mohit scored just 39 points. He was set to continue as captain for the Steelers in Season 6 post the departure of Mohit to Jaipur but got injured in the wrist in their first match of the season after scoring four points and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Captained Dabang Delhi (Season 3)

Ravinder Pahal is one of the best right corners in the world. Known as ' The Hawk', he has played his matches for Dabang Delhi KC and Bengaluru Bulls.

His breaking point was in Season 2 where he topped the defenders' chart scoring 60 points in 14 games and this made him an instant hit.

He was made the side's captain in Season 3 and he had a good season but the side failed to make the playoffs.

He was removed as the captain but he has continued to play well for the team. He was signed by the Bengaluru Bulls in Season 5 but was bought back by Dabang Delhi KC for Season 6.

He has scored 246 points in 75 matches and is a specialist in ankle holds and the diving thigh holds.

He is the third highest point scoring defender in PKL history and is a very popular player. He scored 29 points in Season 1, 60 in Season 2, 35 in Season 3, 39 in Season 4 and 54 points in Season 5 and has had a good season so far in Season 6 scoring 35 points in 8 games.
