Sunil Kumar - 7.5/10

The young Gujarat skipper had a poor start to the game as he failed to collect a single point in the first half. However, his back hold on Desai in the second half and a dash on Abolfazl Maghsoudlou to inflict the all-out on U Mumba were the standout points.

K Prapanjan - 8/10

The lanky raider got his team off to a top start with continuous bonus points and touch points and in combination with Rajput, ensured that Sachin Tanwar's off-day was camouflaged. In addition to this, Prapanjan laid the final laid in the coffin with a two-point raid in the last minute, which also took him to a 'Super 10'.

Parvesh Bhainswal - 8/10

The cover defender had a top outing as he collected his 'High-5' as early as in the first half and with two super tackles, created quite a statement as he finished with six tackle points to his credit.

Mahendra Rajput - 6/10

Rajput used his good height to positive effect as he easily warded off the dashes attempted by the U Mumba defenders to pick points regularly but his ankle holds in the defensive front dented the Gujarat charge.

Ruturaj Koravi - 4.5/10

The right corner defender was a quiet exponent of his usual roaring form as he could not pick a single point in the first half and was caught off-guard on a few occasions by Baliyan but picked a solitary point in the second half.

Sachin Vittala - 5/10

Sachin Vittala could not find his feet against the raiding might of Siddharth Desai as his back holds and ankle holds proved inefficient. However, in the final minute, Vittala pulled off a back hold on Kadian which dented U Mumba's surge toward a win.

Substitutes

Hadi Oshtorak - 3/10

The Iranian was subbed on only for a small moment in the game as he was soon seen jogging back to the benches, fuming as he was caught off guard by a toe touch from Desai.

Anil - 2/10

Brought on to play the role of a raider, Anil was also a presence in the right corner, where his ankle holds were in vain while his two raids also failed to fetch him a point.
