Surjeet Singh - 6/10

One of the best right cover defenders in the world, Surjeet did not have an ideal start to his campaign as he picked just 2 points from six tackles. However, his approach in leading the side was a big plus.

Maninder Singh - 8/10

Maninder picked off from where he left season, causing some serious issues for the Thalaivas defensive unit as he finished with nine raid points from 14 raids, topping the charts from both sides.

Jang Kun Lee - 3/10

The Korean import had a silent opening game as he put in seven empty raids from 12 raids and while he was expected to play a good supporting hand for Maninder, his crafty raiding was certainly not on display today.

Mahesh Goud - 5/10

Returning to the Bengal Warriors where he spent the first four seasons, Mahesh Goud essayed the role of a secondary raider to perfection, taking the load off Maninder to go on and pick 5 points.

Ran Singh - 6/10

The left corner defender was not in the best of form but still managed to pick four points from eight tackles, albeit was a little hasty at times which gifted the opposition easy points.

Shrikant Tewathia - 5/10

Guarding the corner from the right side, Shrikant Tewathia was expected to fire against Ajay Thakur and Co. but only contributed in small proportions right throughout the game.

Ziaur Rahman - 3/10

Rahman was tagged out very early in the contest by Ajay Thakur but from then, Ziaur went out of favour and did not contribute at all to the other game.

SUBSTITUTES -

Rakesh Narwal - 8/10

An experienced player who has plied his trade for many teams in the past, Rakesh Narwal was given the opportunity to soak in the pressure and go in for the DO OR DIE raid which he did to perfection, picking up a super raid that eventually made the difference between the two teams.

Vijin Thangadurai - 6/10

Thangadurai came into the contest as a substitute but made a slight mark as he picked up one point from two tackles, including one unsuccessful tackle.
