Asian Games gold medalist Manpreet Singh is a former Indian player. He represented India for 18 years, on the back of which the Patna Pirates appointed him as their captain for PKL 3. Under his captaincy, the Pirates clinched their maiden trophy.

However, Manpreet Singh called time on his career and slotted into the role of a coach, joining the Fortune Giants as a coach from season 5. His experience as a player himself innovates him to bring about a whole new outlook to each player's skill set.

Under the tutelage of Manpreet, the Fortune Giants reached the finals in season 5 and season 6 but failed to go all the way to win the cup. However, with a young team at his disposal, Manpreet might be able to recreat his magic with the Fortune Giants.
