The prime battle in focus will be between the two highest point-scorers of the league in Tamil Thalaivas' Rahul Chaudhari and Patna Pirates' Pardeep Narwal. Both the superstars have already picked up one Super 10 each and will undoubtedly hold the key for their respective teams.
Apart from Rahul, the Thalaivas have been boosted by the form of Manjeet Chhillar, who has 11 tackle points from just two games and has been a force to reckon with from the cover position. Along with Manjeet, Mohit Chhillar has also struck form with 6 tackle points from two games and will need to be at his best against the Pirates.
Pardeep Narwal has not quite been his usual self but has still notched up 17 raid points from two matches. However, one major concern for the Pirates will be Jang Kun Lee's form, with the Korean picking up just 5 points from two games thus far.
Mohammad Maghsoudlou looked out of sorts in the previous game and will need to find his bearings to provide the all-round depth in the Pirates' squad. Jaideep's High 5 from the last game will certainly give him some confidence that could prove to be decisive against the Thalaivas' raiding duo of Rahul Chaudhari and skipper Ajay Thakur.
With a number of stars set to take to the mat for this game, one can expect a thrilling contest in the offing.
