Fellow strugglers Puneri Paltan and Bengal Warriors lock horns in a foot of the table clash in Pro Kabaddi season 2. Irrespective of the final outcome, one of the two dreams are certain to be shattered come tomorrow night and neither team would want to play out the remainder of the games without any incentive, especially the Puneri Paltan side who have a home leg to finish their league stage.

Puneri Paltan won the other game between the two sides earlier this season, which remains their solitary win this season. So the Puneri Paltan will have a slight psychological advantage over the Bengal Warriors going into the game.

With the team’s fragile defence up against the rather impotent Bengal Warriors attack, the tie is likely to be decided in the Bengal Warriors half and that is where the Paltans have an edge over the Warriors with the likes of Wazir Singh and Pravin Niwale in their ranks.

But the Bengal Warriors have been known to pull several upsets as they have done this season when they beat defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers before toppling Dabang Delhi on their own patch in a low-scoring affair.

Considering anything less than a win for either side will spell the end of their challenge, the game is expected to throw some real fireworks at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.

Both the teams though would be licking the lips at facing each other in this crunch game. But it will only be one team which will be smiling at the end of the game while the other will have to pick the pieces wondering what might have been.

The Paltan or the Warriors, who will live another day in this intriguing Pro Kabaddi caravan.
