Defenders
There are six defenders on the team. Surjeet Singh, who played as the captain of Bengal Warriors last season, is retained by the team. He played exceptionally well in season 5. He is one of the best defenders in the league.
Bangladeshi player Ziaur Rahman, who played for Puneri Paltan was fierce last season. His defensive skills are worth praising. He is expected to support Surjeet on the defensive field.
Other than Surjeet and Rehman, there is no other substantive defender on the team. Vijin Thangadurai, Ameares Mondal, Manoj Dhull and Baldev Singh will also be seen defending the team.
