In Match No. 112 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, Puneri Paltan will take the battle to the mat against the Bengal Warriors in the Inter-Zone Wild Card contest at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Puneri Paltan are coming into this match on the back of a slender margin victory over the UP Yoddha while the Bengal Warriors also picked up a win in their last match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers by just one point.
Puneri Paltan will be banking on their skipper, Deepak Hooda to perform in the capacity of a lead raider for the side. He was absolutely rampant in the last match wherein he picked up 16 raid points alone out of the 34 points scored by his team. He will, however, look for more support from the likes of Rajesh Mondal and young gun Monu in the attack.
The defence will have to step up as compared to the last match and more tackles need to be initiated and executed to perfection from Sandeep Narwal, Girish Ernak, Ravi Kumar and Ziaur Rehman. This is an evenly matched contest between two teams who have a good record so far in the league.
