Senior National Kabaddi Championships 2017: Complete draw and schedule for quarterfinals

It's the penultimate day of action at the Senior National Kabaddi Championships being held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, with the tournament approaching its business end. After three days of action in the league phase which began on New Year's Eve, Wednesday saw the Round of 16 clashes in the men's section, while the women's section saw both the pre-quarterfinals and quarterfinals being conducted.

The quarterfinals, scheduled for Thursday, will feature the top eight men's teams go head-to-head in four mouthwatering-encounters, which will be played back-to-back. The draw and schedule for the same are as follows:

QF 1 - Karnataka vs Uttarakhand (5.45 pm)

QF 2 - Uttar Pradesh vs Maharashtra (6.45 pm)

QF 3 - Haryana vs Rajasthan (7.45 pm)

QF 4 - Services vs Railways (8.45 pm)

The first match of the day will see two strong attacking sides go head-to-head in the form of Karnataka and Uttarakhand. The side from the south will feature the likes of Sukesh Hegde, Prasanth Kumar Rai, Prapanjan, Shabeer Bapu and Harish Naik - all ProKabaddi stars, while on the other hand, the mercurial Pardeep Narwal will lead the Uttarakhand side, which also features young defender Sunil Kumar.

Raiders Rahul Chaudhari and Rishank Devadiga will see their sides clash in the second quarterfinal, which promises to be another high-quality encounter. Maharashtra have a number of top stars in their lineup, in the form of Nilesh Salunke, Girish Ernak and Sachin Shingade.

Another clash of the heavyweights is on the cards as Haryana, who have the likes of Anup Kumar, Manjeet Chhillar, Sandeep Narwal and Rajesh Narwal, go up against Rajasthan, which has three world-class stars in the form of Wazir Singh, Sachin Tawar and captain Deepak Niwas Hooda.

In the last match of the day, the defending champions Services, which features the likes of Surjeet, Monu Goyat, Nitin Tomar, Jaideep and Ajay, go up against a strong Railways side, which has the likes of Parvesh Bhainswal, Mohit Chhillar, Rohit Gulia and Rajesh Mondal.
