This brings us to the end of our coverage for this match. This is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow mate Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and Rajarshi Das.
Yuvraj Singh: It changed when we were playing golf. Four of us got fifties. On this wicket getting 250 was special. This Man of the Match should go to bowlers. Australia have won world cups and to beat them. I know that you always wanted India Pakistan final. I took my time, I knew it was a mattar of two hits. It's been great year for India. It will be a jam packed Stadium
Brett Lee (Australia captain): We played brilliant throughout the tournament but we faltered today. We didn't do our job today and scoring 250 was just too much. It's been a wonderful tournament. Some sore bodies but surely some great memories
India Champions won by 86 runs
Robin Uthappa 65(35) | Pawan Negi 2/35 Tim Paine 40*(32) | Peter Siddle 4/57(4)
Before the start of this championship, India Champions were the first team slated to qualify for the final but having seen how they performed in the last two games, not may would have given them a chance and even going into the final. However they have done something really special to have qualified for the semi final with matches to spare.
Pakistan have been the team to beat in this competition but it didn't look like India Champions were prepared. However they have really peaked at the right time and facing Pakistan at this stage of the tournament should bring out the best among both sides. Now coming to this match, the India Champions were always going to fall behind.
However the performance of the India Champions was much better from what they did in the previous games. The target of 255 was never going to be a realistic one for Australia and despite some big blows it was always going to be a similar task. Nonetheless India will face Pakistan in the finals which will be played later today.
