08:45 PM local time (01:15 AM): England won by 7 wickets (with 10.2 overs to spare)
Jamie Smith 64(28) | Adil Rashid 3/40(8) Sherfane Rutherford 70(71) | Roston Chase 1/19(5)
It turned out to be a rather straightforward run chase for England as they ended up winning the third and the final ODI against West Indies by 7 wickets to take the series 3-0. The target was adjusted to 246 in 40 overs and West Indies needed some early wickets to make a match of it. Jamie Smith who has just started opening in his ODI career literally blazed his way to a half century and broke the run chase in the powerplay itself.
He smashed a 28 ball 64 and some of the strokeplay oozed class and confidence. His knock was studded with 10 fours and three sixes. Smith provided the much needed start before getting castled by Gudakesh Motie in the 7th over. The 93 run partnership laid the platform for the run chase and there was literally no looking back.
Ben Duckett took the onus from there and took the attacking approach with a flurry of boundaries. Duckett scored a 46 ball 58 which included five fours and three sixes and when he departed at the score of 155 in the 16th over, the chase was almost done and dusted. Joe Root and Harry Brook took a bit of time in the middle to settle down but never missed out from finding the boundaries whenever an opportunity was presented.
It was Alzarri Joseph’s sharp bumper which resulted in the departure of Joe Root. Jos Buttler was the next man in and he ensured that the run chase didn't last long. He started off with a flurry of boundaries and ended the match with a massive sixes to remain unbeaten on 41 off just 20 deliveries.
29.4 Jayden Seales to Jos Buttler, BUTTLER SEALS THE DEAL, and England complete a 3-nil clean-sweep! Slow, into the pitch outside off. Buttler waits for it to arrive, gives it a mighty whack across the line, and the ball sails deep into the stands over mid wicket. Clinical performance from the hosts, far from the same from the visitors!
29.4 Jayden Seales to Jos Buttler, wide, Seales saw Buttler charge down the wicket early, banged this in halfway down and wide of off. The ball climbed well above Buttler's head, who didn't bother playing at it
29.3 Jayden Seales to Jos Buttler, hard length, outside off stump. Buttler rises with the bounce and pats it towards the mid-wicket fielder
29.2 Jayden Seales to Jos Buttler, slow, into the pitch around off. Buttler was through his heave across the line rather quickly, and took a blow to the ribs
29.1 Jayden Seales to Jos Buttler, hard length outside off, cuts into the batter. Buttler works it towards the square-leg fielder
Jayden Seales (5-0-42-0) is back into the attack

Alzarri Joseph
1/52
28.6 Alzarri Joseph to Harry Brook, looks for an upper-cut to this short, rising delivery around middle. Wafts at thin air
28.5 Alzarri Joseph to Harry Brook, on a hard length, following the batter as Brook gave himself room looking to go over cover. Swings down the wrong line as the ball sneaks past the outside edge
28.4 Alzarri Joseph to Jos Buttler, back of a length, angled into the batter. Buttler, cramped for room, whips this towards the man at deep square. Just one
28.3 Alzarri Joseph to Jos Buttler, back of a length outside off. Buttler has a heave-ho across the line, meets thin air
28.2 Alzarri Joseph to Jos Buttler, THE SHIMMY AND SCOOP SENDS THIS OVER FINE LEG! Back of a length wide of off, Buttler shuffled across quickly, got under this one and ramped it over the keeper's head. Plenty of bat on that
28.1 Alzarri Joseph to Jos Buttler, PICKS THE BONES OUT OF THAT! Full, wide of off without much pace. Buttler waits for it to arrive, and absolutely hammers it past a diving Carty at mid off

27.5 Gudakesh Motie to Jos Buttler, that's a beauty from Motie! Darted on a length rather quickly, this one turned and bounced a bit. Buttler played down the wrong line completely, the ball sneaked past the outside edge and over the off stump
27.4 Gudakesh Motie to Jos Buttler, PULLED INTO THE GAP THIS TIME! Shorter from Motie, landed on off stump. Buttler rocks back, has a heave across the line and hits it into the gap
