Commentary
Phew! Let's take a breather here. We have witnessed one of the best innings you will ever see in T20.

Warriors were 26/3 when Nicholas Pooran and Ross Taylor walked into bat. Both started their innings carefully and rotated the strike well.

Pooran once he got his eye in started to play his shots. There was no rustiness in his innings, all his shots were very well timed and were elegant. He targeted the spinners specially and it looked like a different pitch when he batted. Patriots earlier when they batted were struggling against the spin bowling.

Ross Taylor on the other end was watching it quietly and was rotating the strike very well. His innings will get overshadowed easily today but his contribution was equally important.

Patriots still searching for their second win. Today's match will be a hard pill to swallow. They were in control of the game till the 10 over mark of the Warrior's innings but were undone by the brilliance of Pooran. None of their bowlers looked like having a plan and failed to bowl well.

On the other hand, a very important win for Warriors as they still keep their chances alive in the tournament.

We enjoyed bringing this coverage to you. This is Nikhil, along with my colleague, Prashanth signing off. Take Care!
17.3 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, SIX! CENTURY! What an innings this has been from Pooran, deserved the 100, what a player this man is! He is a special special talent and he has a long future ahead of him. Coming back to the ball, tossed up delivery from Sodhi and Pooran is down on one knee and slog sweeps over mid-wicket for a maximum.
17.2 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, SIX! Tossed up again outside off-stump and Pooran lofts this over extra cover for a maximum. One hit away from his 100! 4 to win and 6 for Pooran 100!
17.1 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, SIX! Tossed up on middle and leg and Pooran comes down the track and lofts it with grace over the mid-wicket boundary for yet another maximum. He has targeted the spinners today well and has been smashing them all over the park.
Sohail Tanvir coming back after that bruise on his fingers has been hammered for 13 runs in the over. He still seems to be in pain. Warriors are cruising here.
They need 16 runs from 18 balls. Warriors 135/3 after 17 overs.
16.6 Sohail Tanvir to Nicholas Pooran, full-length delivery outside off-stump and Pooran drives to covers for a single to end the over.
16.5 Sohail Tanvir to Ross Taylor, good-length ball outside off-stump and Taylor dabs to point for a quick single.
16.4 Sohail Tanvir to Ross Taylor, good-length ball outside off-stump and Taylor looking to dab it away gets an inside edge for no runs.
16.3 Sohail Tanvir to Nicholas Pooran, good-length ball played away for a single this time to the deep.
16.2 Sohail Tanvir to Nicholas Pooran, FOUR! Short delivery this time and Pooran gets into good positions and pulls this away to deep square-leg for another boundary. Pooran waited for it and played it well in the gap.
16.1 Sohail Tanvir to Nicholas Pooran, SIX! The full-length ball just outside off-stump and Pooran hits through the line of this delivery over long-off for a maximum to bring up the 100 partnership.
Pooran will not let this go down the wire. He smashed a huge six of Ish Sodhi in the last over. Taylor's innings might get easily undermined here but he has held the fort at the other end and has rotated the strike very well. 11 runs coming off the last over.
Warriors need 29 runs from 24 balls. Warriors 122/3 after 16 overs.
15.6 Ish Sodhi to Ross Taylor, short again and Taylor can't pierce the gap with the cut once again as he finds the fielder at point this time.
15.5 Ish Sodhi to Ross Taylor, short delivery outside off-stump and Taylor cuts it straight to the fielder at covers.
15.4 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, tossed up delivery on the pads and Pooran works it away to deep mid-wicket for a single.
15.3 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, tossed up delivery worked away into the leg-side and they come back for two. Taylor makes it back right in the nick of time!
15.3 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, WIDE! Tossed up way outside the off-stump this time.
15.2 Ish Sodhi to Nicholas Pooran, SIX! Tossed up delivery on stump line and Pooran down on one knee slog sweeps this over mid-wicket, Pooran now making all this look very easy.
15.1 Ish Sodhi to Ross Taylor, tossed up delivery outside off-stump and Taylor drops it down with soft hands and they set off for a quick single.
Just 5 overs remaining in the match. This is getting tighter and tighter. Warriors are favorites here to win but a couple of wickets here can turn around the game soon. This partnership has moved to 86 from 56 balls and both of them have played extremely well.

Warriors need 40 runs from 30 balls. Warriors 111/3 after 15 overs.
