Two in two for India and they are on a roll at this U19 World Cup. They will look to make it a hat-trick of wins on Sunday and top their group as they face USA at this very venue. Uday Saharan (India captain): First off all, it's a perfect game for us. All the plans were executed. Mushee and I showed calmness. He is not that calm (chuckles) but batted superbly. The ball was turning and stopping a bit but we knew we will get to a good score if we stay there. We will try to take the game deep and that is what we are executing. We are putting in a lot of effort in fielding and that's been on display in the field.

Philippus le Roux (Ireland captain): Yeah we are very disappointed. We are capable to playing much better cricket. Credit to India for thoroughly outplaying us. Going forward, hoping to bounce back. They are the defending champions for a reason. They just took control of the game and executed when needed. Daniel played very well today. A few selection headaches going forward. A few off days and then we will try to bounce back. They have been exceptional. Never stopped believing. Whenever we are down, they support us.

Musheer Khan (Player of the Match): Feeling great after scoring a century. In the previous match, I was a bit restless and tried to build my innings today. My batting style is similar to my brother's. The six-over deep midwicket was a special one for me. Very happy but the only focus is to continue the good work. I am happy but not satisfied.

It turned out to be an absolute annihilation for Ireland as India thumped them by 201 runs to win their second match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup. It was a procession of sorts right from the time Saumy Pandey was introduced. Naman Tiwari and Dhanush Gowda started off well by keeping things right and conceded just 9 runs in the first 4 overs. The opening over of Saumy Pandey saw him remove Jordan Neill with an absolute beauty. The ball drifted back in before turning away sharply to beat the outside edge and rattle the stumps. From there on, it was Naman Tiwari and Saumy Pandey in tandem who just never allowed Ireland to have any chance whatsoever.

Naman Tiwari used the short delivery very well and accounted for Ryan Hunter with a well-directed one. Aravelly Avinash took a brilliant catch before Naman got his 3rd to reduce the Irish to 38/4 in the 11th over. Pandey continued to weave his magic from there on and the Ireland batters had no clue against him. Avinash continued to impress behind the stumps, inflicting an MSDesque stumping. It was just exceptional bowling from all the Indian bowlers and Ireland never found an answer. Oliver Riley and Daniel Forkin put up some resistance with a 39 run partnership. They looked in good touch and found some boundaries to take Ireland past their lowest score.

Forkin continued the good work after the wicket of Riley and took them to 100 before the Indian captain Uday Saharan brought himself into the attack and finished it off for India. Earlier in the day, India posted a massive score of 301 in their allotted 50 overs on the back of a splendid century by Musheer Khan. It was a display of how to build an ODI innings. Musheer and Uday Saharan started off cautiously but took the attack just when it was needed. Some late fireworks in the end from Avinash and Sachin Dhas propelled them over the 300 run mark. Musheer remained unbeaten on 118 which was studded with 9 fours and 4 sixes.

It's the captain Uday Saharan who introduced himself into the attack to break the partnership and he gets rid of Lutton by bowling a quicker one which deviated off the pitch and rattled the stumps. A thoroughly convincing performance by India but the Irish lower order did put up some resistance which took them to 100. India winning by a massive margin of 201 runs.

Lutton played down the wrong line and the ball crashed into the stumps courtesy a bit of deviation. Ireland have been bowled out for 100 and India win by a mammoth margin of 201 runs.

Just a little bit of irritation creeping into the Indian fielders as the Ireland tail keeps waging and defying the bowling unit. It has been a solid performance from India but the inability to wipe out the tail might come back to haunt them in bigger games.
