Heather Knight, England Captain - In T20 cricket one has to take the game on and be aggressive! We felt we had the attacking game in ourselves and decided to go on the offensive from the powerplay itself. It helped to built up the pressure on the opposition. It's going to be a great game against India and they're a champion side. They've some great spinners and we will have to re-assess accordingly and put our plans in place for that game.

Laura Delany, Ireland Women captain: Disappointed obviously with the loss, but there are a lot of positives to take away from this game. However, the biggest negative was not to string together good partnerships in the middle. That is one area which we would like to better, going forward. Our batters at the top of the order gave us a fine start and our bowlers pulled things back really well later on. But the area of improvement as I said, has to be in out batting. In the next game against Pakistan, we would love to be a more improved team to take them on. It is great to get the support from the supporters who have come all the way from home. The families too have made their way to South Africa, which is another massive plus for us, in terms of support.

Alice Capsey has been adjudged the Player of the Match! Here is what she has to say.

Alice Capsey: I absolutely loved it out there! First T20 World Cup for England and to get this award is a big boost for me. I also enjoy playing under the coaching of Jon Lewis, he helps me to express myself and I look forward to doing so every time I step out to bat. The game against India which is coming up will be a big one, so, will definitely by up for that challenge. These wickets in South Africa are different from the ones back home in England, but it's all about adapting to the conditions around the world and play accordingly.

Right so, England eventually got past the finishing line with there but they made a tough job of it. They didn't really have a big total to chase and came out all guns blazing with Alice Capsey taking the Irish bowlers down. The teenage batting sensation piled up the boundaries and took the game away from Ireland's reach in the powerplay itself. She notched up the joint fastest 50 in T20 world cup history in the process.

However once she was dismissed England dug a bit of a hole for themselves as they kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Skipper Heather Knight scratched around for a while before she was eventually dismissed for 14 as the middle order capitulated under pressure. In the end Katherine Brunt finished things off with a boundary as she England got over the line with 4 wickets remaining.

Ireland just didn't have enough runs to defend on a batting surface and their bowlers were taken to the cleaners in the powerplay by Alice Capsey! However they kept fighting and came back well to clean up the England middle order. Spinners did a good job in tidying things up post powerplay and Cara Murray was the star with the ball for them as she picked up 3 wickets. The batters looked to target her but couldn't get the proper elevation or distance on their shots. Orla Prendergast chipped in at the beginning with a wicket too.

Overall, yet another emphatic win for England and they're now sitting at the top of the table with two wins! Ireland came here into this game on the back of some good performances and they showed in glimpses as to what they have to offer. However they capitulated under pressure and surrendered with the bat, something they will have to work up on in the future games.

England win by 4 wickets and 34 balls to spare!

14.2 Arlene Kelly to Katherine Sciver-Brunt, FOUR RUNS! AND THAT WILL DO IT! Full outside off. Katherine Sciver-Brunt goes right forward and drives it past the left of mid-off, to get it away to the boundary! A scrappy win in the end for England Women, but a win is a win and they will take it! Two wins on the bounce now for Heather Knight's team.

13.6 Cara Murray to Amy Jones, THAT'S OUT! Full and loopy, just outside off. Jones chips down the track upon seeing the flight and looks to go for another big one over mid-off. All she ends up doing is give cover a fine high catch!

13.5 Cara Murray to Amy Jones, FOUR! Full and on off-stump. Jones shimmies down the wicket and hits it straight, over the bowler, for a nice boundary out to long-off!

13.4 Cara Murray to Katherine Sciver-Brunt, fuller and slower on off. Driven square, to point from the front foot, for a really quick, yet risky single in the end!

Frustration for Heather Knight as Arlene Kelly didn't allow her to find the gaps and get the boundary! England will have to wait that bit longer as they crawl towards the target.
