Follow IPL T20 live score for Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders

This is it then as I think we should call it a night to take some break and get ready for the pulsating grand finale on Sunday. It was a pleasure to be doing the live commentary tonight as Mumbai Indians dismantled Kolkata Knight Riders to make their way into the finals. Stay tuned for our extensive coverage of the IPL and the Champions Trophy!
Karn Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah set the tone for an easy chase which was completed by a sensible knock from Krunal Pandya under pressure. KKR just didn't turn up tonight as they failed to apply to the conditions as well as their opponents.
What a final we have in our hands as we get to prepare for a record fourth Maharashtra derby in one season. Mumbai have reached the finals in a hard way but will go confidently in the final hurdle against a team that may miss their best player in a big game. Mumbai have showed tremendous intensity to see off KKR's challenge as the difference in intent was clearly evident tonight.
Karn Sharma: I have worked really hard but now it is coming out well. It's a brilliant thing that I could be of use to the team in this all-important game.
The winning captain Rohit Sharma says, "We deserve this as we worked hard and have found a way of sneaking into the finals. Bowlers' start gave us the confidence. This again was a team performance as getting wickets at regular intervals helped us. We don't have a run getter in the top five this season which goes on to show our team's all round efforts. We do not have a good record against RPS but what a game we have to change the record."

The presentation ceremony is about to start!
Gautam Gambhir on the loss, "We needed at least 140 to have a commendable total to defend. But lost too many wickets very early. Proud of all the boys as it was a long tournament and we gave our all. We had opportunities but missed them. Best luck to Mumbai and Pune and may the best team win."
It must be tough for KKR to get so close and crash out at this juncture but they have themselves to blame for a disappointing batting display.
Pandya finishes off with a four at third man as Mumbai Indians chase a weak total of 108 runs rather easily! It was the partnership of Sharma and Pandya which set the foundation of yet another victory over the Knight Riders.
14.3 FOUR! Piyush Chawla to Krunal Pandya. Leg spinner short, middle stump on the back foot cutting, past third man for 4 runs.
14.2 Piyush Chawla to Krunal Pandya. Leg spinner full toss, off stump on the front foot working, to mid wicket for no runs, fielded by Yadav.
14.1 Piyush Chawla to Kieron Pollard. Leg spinner yorker, off stump on the front foot dropped, to point for 1 run.
14.1 Wide Piyush Chawla to Kieron Pollard. Leg spinner yorker, wide down leg side on the front foot flick, to wicketkeeper for 1 run, fielded by Uthappa.
Rajpoot came on to bowl so late but fails to make any sort of an impact as Pandya powers his way for a boundary on the last ball.
