Ravichandran Ashwin has been declared as the man of the match for his spell of 2/22 in 4 overs
Rajasthan Royals win by 46 runs

Much to their liking they started off their innings in style, racing to 41/1 after 6 overs even after losing Buttler early in the chase. Smith and Jaiswal played to their roles as Smith took to attack on the front foot. Soon after Smith departed, RR fell like a pack of cards. Jaiswal was the only one to stick well throughout the innings as  it progressed, but he to fell prey after playing a few delightful strokes. A lot was put on the shoulders of Tewatia and Archer to perform but they too could not do much damage and fell down on their knees, prey to the pressure. In the end they were bowled out 138 and let down their bowlers effort to restrict them to an under par total.

Well, whatever said is less for the DC bowlers. They showed enough composure and maturity in their ball game and struck at regular intervals to trouble the Royals batting lineup. Ashwin started it by dismissing Buttler early and put a full stop to the battle between him and the Englishman. Rabada joined in the party, with the wicket of Tewatia in the fag end of the innings and went on to clean the tail. Stoinis and Nortje supported him well and got rewarded for their consistent efforts.

With this win DC move on the top of the table with 10 points in 6 games. They will face the Mumbai Indians next in Abu Dhabi on 11th October.

Rajasthan will have ben Stokes at their disposal in the next match and will hope to out perform SRH on Sunday and move on to the upper half of the table
Over: 20 | Summary: W 1 1 W Bowler: Score: 0/0
19.4 Kagiso Rabada to Varun Aaron, OUT! THREE FOR RABADA! SOFT DISMISSAL BUT THAT SORT OF EMBODIES RAJASTHAN'S DISPLAY TODAY! Banged into the track on middle and leg and that seems to be the slower delivery too. Aaron tries to make room for himself and glide it over third man. But, he only ends up offering a simple catch to Pant, who hobbles on his way to complete the catch!
19.3 Kagiso Rabada to Kartik Tyagi, slower bumper on leg stump. Tyagi backs away and drags it towards deep mid wicket for another single. Going through the paces now!
19.2 Kagiso Rabada to Varun Aaron, back of a length delivery on leg stump. Aaron uncomfortably pokes at it and squirts a single to deep square leg
19.1 Kagiso Rabada to Rahul Tewatia, OUT! NO FAIRY TALE FOR TEWATIA! WAS COMING ANYWAY THOUGH! Slower delivery on a back of a length outside off. Tewatia looks to hoick that one way over cow corner but loses all sort of shape. In turn, he only manages to chop it back onto his stumps and hand Rabada his 14th wicket in IPL 2020!
Final few formalities remain for the Capitals side. They have been clinical in the match and have outclassed their opponents in the match. They will enjoy a good night's sleep tonight
Over: 19 | Summary: 0 0 1w 0 1w 0 4 1 Bowler: Anrich Nortje Score: 136/7
18.6 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, slower yorker on middle and off stump. Tewatia waits on it before defending it into the off side towards extra cover for a single
18.5 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, FOUR! Banged into the track on leg stump and Tewatia just uses the pace of the delivery to whip it over square leg for four. Rabada does well to come around but can't prevent the boundary nor can he hold on to the catch. Fails to pouch the catch safely there and the ball just bounces before the rope for a boundary
18.4 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, low full toss outside off stump. Tewatia gets down low and then slices it towards deep backward point. Again, refuses the single
18.4 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, sharp bumper at the batsman on leg stump. The ball goes above the batsman's head and is called a wide for height!
18.3 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, banged into the track down the leg side. Tewatia gets into position and heaves it away to fine leg. And, he refuses the single
18.3 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, short delivery that slides down the leg side and is rightly called a wide by the umpire
18.2 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, back of a length delivery outside off stump and Tewatia is showcasing his Test match credentials here! Gets behind the line of the ball and blocks right under his eyes
18.1 Anrich Nortje to Rahul Tewatia, back of a length delivery on off stump. Tewatia lets the ball come to him before DEFENDING! NRR anyone? Seems like RR feeling that sword now!
