Well, that is all from us here at Sportskeeda today, join us back tomorrow for double header Sunday as two big contests await you, so till we meet again. Stay safe, mask up and stay home whenever you possibly can. Good night!
Sanju Samson: It was brilliant, our bowlers have been doing well in the last four to five games. There are lot of options for me to juggle around, mix of experience and the youngsters in our attack. My thought process was to go according to the situation of the game, I look to win matches for the team. I wanted to see the team to the win today. ( On Chetan Sakariya) He is a very different kind of person, very chilled and happy. He is what he is inside as he shows outside on the field. We need to chill down a bit, we will take a day off and then sit down and plan for the next game.

Chris Morris(Man of the Match): Clear mind, in the previous games when they guys were going at us, mind can get a bit clattered. Today was not an easy wicket for the  batters, just need to keep a clear mind. Those guys are massive loses not only in the field but also bring a lot of energy to the side. Our motivation as a team is to bring smiles to people around the world and we are privileged to do this. Conditions are always difficult vs Dre Russ, a lot of experience of bowling against him has helped. Hopefully, more to come and we can get the wins
Eoin Morgan: (On where they lost the game) The batting, lack of intent and impetus and we were behind the 8 ball from the word go. We were possibly 40 short and that is large in a T20 game, it was a little too much for our bowlers at the end. (On the wicket and and the intent) It was a stark contrast to the last game, think the wicket was not similar to the last games. Whenever we took the attacking option, we lost wickets which was pretty bad. We left ourselves a little too much to do at the end. Clear mind makes everything easier, in our side there is room for smart cricket but also for the free flowing cricket. Hopefully Ahmedabad is a better venue to suited us and we can turn it around
A comprehensive win at the end for Rajasthan Royals, that should really send some smiles in that camp. They have dominated this contest right from the very start and it is only deserving they are going away with two points from today’s encounter.

Coming to the run chase, eyes will be on Sanju Samson. This is not the innings, you are accustomed to see from the Royals skipper. He has cut down a lot of his natural instincts in that innings and looked like someone who wanted to be there, taking the responsibility head on.

His strike rate pretty much sums up how controlled he has been in that knock but all that would matter for him is the fact that he has been out there till the very end and has managed to see his side home. That should give him and the RR camp some real sense of happiness.

You would say this could well be that coming off age knock of the Rajasthan skipper. They had a couple of hiccups in that run chase but everything was well under control because a certain Sanju Samson, was out there at every instance to see it off.

KKR, on the other hand, need to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to win games at this venue, where they really have not been able to crack it.

Smiles in the RR camp, why wouldn't there be, they have deserved to be there and have earned the two points. We will hear from the captains and from the post match presentation ceremony very shortly.
19.0
18.5 Pat Cummins to Sanju Samson, full delivery on middle and off stump. Samson gets onto the front foot and clips the ball into the on side towards deep mid wicket for a single. Seals victory for RR too!
One needed now, fitting that Sanju has the chance to hit the winning runs
18.4 Pat Cummins to David Miller, slower delivery on a length on middle and off stump. Miller comes onto the front foot and drops the ball into the off side towards point for a quick single
18.3 Pat Cummins to David Miller, back of a length delivery on middle and off stump. Miller gets up on his toes and drops the ball right beside him with extremely gentle hands
2 needed now to wrap up this contest
18.2 Pat Cummins to David Miller, length delivery on leg stump. Miller gets inside the line of the ball and eases it towards the sweeper at fine leg before trudging across for an easy brace
18.1 Pat Cummins to Sanju Samson, back of a length delivery on middle and off stump. Samson gets onto the back foot and works the ball into the leg side towards deep square leg for one
Pat Cummins, right arm fast, to bowl the 19th
One big hit away now from the obvious, they have been really professional today in all departments in this contest. Right from the word go. Sanju to go for the biggie? 5 away now!
