Rajasthan Royals win by 55 runs

After putting up 220 runs on the board, the Rajasthan Royals have done a commendable job in securing a win here. A belter of a track but the Sunrisers Hyderabad could not make full use of it as they crash to their seventh loss of the season.

Manish Pandey was sent in to open the innings alongside Jonny Bairstow and the duo got them off to a decent start as they stitched together a 57 run partnership before Pandey fell for a 20-ball 31. Bairstow could not stick around as well as the Englishman departed in the very next over for a well-made 21-ball 30.The Sunrisers chase was completely derailed post the fall of wickets. Skipper Kane Williamson could not make an impactful performance as he perished for an agonisingly slow 21-ball 20 on this batting-assistant track.

Vijay Shankar could manage only a run-a-ball 8 while Kedar Jadhav stayed in the middle for a while before being dismissed for a 19-ball 19. Mohammad Nabi landed a few blows en route his quick fire 5-ball 17 came but a slower one from the Fizz deceived him.Abdul Samad was the Sunrisers' last hope but all he could chip in with was an 8-ball 10 while Rashid Khan recorded a duck. A sorry looking scorecard for the Hyderabad outfit while the Royals will be pleased with their bowling effort today.

The Rajasthan bowlers were terrific with their changes of pace and kept the Hyderabad batsmen in check throughout the course of the second innings. Chris Morris and Mustafizur Rahman, their two experienced campaigners rose to the occasion and returned with three-wicket hauls each.

Kartik Tyagi was impressive in his first IPL 2021 game as the youngster bowled at some serious pace which troubled the openers. He chipped in with a wicket and so did Rahul Tewatia, who picked the prized wicket of Jonny Bairstow. All in all, a comprehensive win for the Royals and they will be mighty pleased by the couple of points that they have been awarded!

19.6 Chetan Sakariya to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, RR WIN BY 55 RUNS! Full and on off-stump, Kumar squeezes this one out to short third man for a single but that is that for SRH and RR grab the two points
19.5 Chetan Sakariya to Sandeep Sharma, OH! Leading edge, full and angling into the batsman and Sandeep tried to move away and gets a leading edge that goes past point for a single
19.4 Chetan Sakariya to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, back of a length on stump line and Kumar turns this one away to the leg side for a single this time
19.3 Chetan Sakariya to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, FOUR! Well played that, short of a length outside the off-stump and Kumar guides this one away well past point for another boundary
19.2 Chetan Sakariya to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, excellent from Samson, slower one on a good-length outside the off-stump. Kumar tries to play this one fine past the keeper and short third fielder. Sanju dives across to stop that one
19.1 Chetan Sakariya to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, OH! BEATEN! Slower one, full and outside the off-stump and Kumar tries to heave this one away but gets beaten this time
A few wild heaves from the SRH batters as they swing across the line in hopes of collecting the big runs. However, they end up mistiming the ball and can manage only singles before Bhuvi cheekily plays one through the third man region for a boundary.

Sunrisers Hyderabad need another 63 runs from the last over
