Virat Kohli in the post-match conference: I think they got off to a great start in the first six then we pulled it back in the next 8 overs and the last phase again got away from us. Those important chances in between we need to grab when the opportunity comes our way. it is not like we are dropping half chances, we are dropping sitters and those things hurt you. The execution with the ball towards the end could have been better and with the bat as well. Not a complete performance in any regard today.  Chris (Morris) was very close to playing the match today. We have a game after 4 days now and we will look to regroup.
Delhi Capitals win by 59 runs, Their biggest victory over RCB by runs-margin!

Royal Challengers Bangalore never got the momentum that was needed to chase down the big target of 197. Starting with the openers Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkala who never looked comfortable in the middle. Finch got three reprieves in his short-stay at the crease but he couldn't use it to give an impetus to the RCB chase. Padikkal after 4 excellent matches, draws a rare failure! AB de Villiers against the run of play perished on the last ball of the powerplay over and thus dissipated the hopes of RCB's chances of chasing down the total. Skipper Virat Kohli tried to fight the odds but he couldn't get going and continued to play behind the required run rate. Moeen Ali tried to hit some lusty blows but fell prey to the guile of Axar Patel who spun a web of master spin bowling across the RCB camp.

But it was Kagiso Rabada who stood out as the star performer as he picked a 4-fer and earned the Purple Cap which he looks determined to take home this year. Anrich Nortje, complemented his fellow South African bowler in equal measures as he finished with figures of 4-0-22-2.

In the end, RCB never looked threatening with the chase and DC snatched a victory with a complete team performance. DC has now reached the top of the points table and will be enjoying their reign at the top of the table.

So that's that from us, this is Abhinav Singh and my partner Maanas Upadhyay signing off. Do join us tomorrow at the same time as we bring to you all the live IPL action with minute precision. Stay Safe, stay indoors and keep washing your hands. Good night fellas!
