That is all from the action here. This is Sourabh signing off on behalf of Pradeep. We hope to see you soon, take care!
Samantha Bates is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: I don't know if there's any secret, nice to contribute and have worked hard off-season, reflected quite a bit on the last season and it's paying off nicely now. If you can come in, with the games to go and win most of them, we're in a good place for now. It's really exciting, nice to contribute and happy with the win.
17:09 Local Time (14:39 IST): Sydney Thunder win by 19 runs
A comfortable win in the end for Sydney Thunder who complete a hat-trick of victories and consolidate their position on the top of the table after 4 games. For the Heat, they have just the 2 wins from their 5 games and are remain stuck in the middle of the table.
171 was a stiff target for the Heat and they needed a couple of their key batters to step up for them. Grace Harris got going at the start with some big shots but she lost a couple of partners at the other end with the Heat at 48/2 at the end of the powerplay.
Knott came in and got involved in a min-partnership with Grace who got out at the wrong time for the Heat. She was dismissed by Peschel right at the halfway mark and Heat were still more than 100 run adrift.
Wickets kept falling at regular intervals then with left-arm spinner Bates coming into the act. She picked up 4 wickets including the all-important one of Knott who was playing a magnificent knock from one end having gone past her 50.
Once Knott fell, it was only a matter of time and the Heat were bowled out with 5 balls to spare completing an easy win for Thunder.
19.1 Shabnim Ismail to Grace Parsons, OUT! KNIGHT TAKES A SITTER! Ismail wraps things up and redeems herself for the dropped catch from earlier. Sydney Thunder solidify their top spot with this win, a comprehensive one. Back of a length outside the off-stump, Parsons smacked it straight to mid-off where Knight didn't have to move much.
Grace Parsons c Heather Knight b Shabnam Ismail 1(4b, 0x4, 0x6).
It could have been all over but Ismail put a sitter down and we are going into the last over. Heat need 20 off 6 and it will the speedster Shabnam Ismail [3.0-0-22-0] who will bowl it

18.6 Chamari Athapaththu to Grace Parsons, DROPPED! Ismail drops a sitter, would've been all over. Good length on the off-stump, Parsons heaved it away to deep mid-wicket. Ismail doesn't judge that one well, dipping into her and she goes low, spills it.
18.5 Chamari Athapaththu to Grace Parsons, good length on the fourth stump, Parsons waits and dabs it away, finds backward point.
18.4 Chamari Athapaththu to Grace Parsons, short and just outside the off-stump, Parsons waits and misses to cut, through to the keeper.
Grace Parsons, RHB, is the last batter
Chamari catches the ball and then throws it away in anger, she was not pleased after being hit for a boundary but she gets the last laugh. Heat 9 down now
18.3 Chamari Athapaththu to Nicola Hancock, OUT! MILES UP IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Athapaththu takes out the dangerous Hancock as Heat lose their ninth wicket. Length delivery on the stumps, Hancock went for the slog sweep and top edged it straight up. Athapaththu runs across, settles under it and pouches.
18.2 Chamari Athapaththu to Nicola Hancock, back over the wicket. Good length on the stumps, Hancock sweeps it to deep mid-wicket. They decide to come back for the brace, not a great throw and Hancock gets back in with ease.
Here we go, folks! Heat are certainly giving it their all
18.1 Chamari Athapaththu to Nicola Hancock, FOUR! Well struck, Hancock! Are we onto something here? Good length on the off-stump, Hancock smokes it to cow corner, one bounce into the ropes for a much needed boundary
Chamari Athapaththu [3.0-0-26-1] to bowl the 19th
Heat need 27 off the last 2 overs. This is still not over but you would back Thunder to get the job done with Heat 8 down. Heat might need Pandey to take a large amount of strike

17.6 Hannah Darlington to Shikha Pandey, FOUR MORE! Another boundary of the over, Heat are just hanging by a thread here. Back of a length outside the off-stump, Pandey cuts in the gap, through covers and finds the ropes.
