Right then. That's all we have from this contest. The finals of the Women's T20 Challenge are set. Will Supernovas be third-time champions of Saturday night, or will Velocity get their hands on the elusive trophy? Join us on Saturday, to find out! Tomorrow, the focus shifts back to the IPL as RCB looks to get their hands on their elusive IPL title. It's the battle of the Royals in Ahmedabad in Qualifier 2, and we'll be here to bring you the updates from that one as well! Until then, this is the duo of Pratyush Rohra and Shashwat Kumar, taking your leave. Goodnight!
Smriti Mandhana (Trailblazers captain): Even after winning the match, we don't feel like we have won the match. We knew the scenarios and I'm really proud the way we played to get to 190. We had a really good chance but we have to give credit to Kiran with the way she batted. She took the game away from us. In a way, it was sad to see her hit against us but at the same time, it was quite exciting to see someone hit it in the stands in women's cricket but not as the opposite captain. I think great things are going to come for her in the Indian set-up. Our plans were simple. We needed to get their top order out intially. We knew if we gave Shafali enough plans to play, it'll be hard for us them to 156. The ones we planned for, we got them out but she (Kiran) came out of the box. We knew her capabilities because she's done really well in domestic cricket but not many of us had seen her game but to see her come out and hit a first ball six was a but of a surprise but that's the way cricket goes. We have a big year coming up for the Indian team and a lot of T20 cricket going forward. As always, we go back and work hard as hard as you can, develop, work on your fitness and come back strong. Try and win as many matches as I can for Indian. Just because Velocity have not won yet, maybe I'll support them one percent more. Sorry Harman (laughs).
Kiran Navgire: I was very excited to bat. I didn't get to bat in the last game so I was excited to bat up the order. The coaching staff told me I'll bat up the order, so that was very exciting. Was just playing to my strengths and that was the plan, to make my team win the game. Just wanted to score 160-plus as quickly as possible to seal qualification for the team and wanted to win too. I made a mistake. Being the set batter, I should have finished it off for the team. One or two plans didn't come off but that's okay. I work on my strength. I love hitting sixes, so I work on that a lot. Playing with Deepti-di and Rana-di for the first time and they just told me that I have to make the team win and play my natural game. That's all.
Deepti Sharma (Velocity captain): (On the result) We lost the match but we are excited for the final. The way we played in the first innings and the second innings was extraordinary. I think second half was good. The way Kiran batted was extraordinary. It was fun watching her from the outside and I feel we batted better than we bowled. We set our batting order according to the situation. We gave away 25-30 runs extra because of our fielding. I am sure we will come back in the final better. As a fielding unit and a bowling unit, we need to be a little stronger
Trailblazers won by 16 runs

Sabbhineni Meghana - 73 (47) | Jemimah Rodrigues 66 (44) | Poonam Yadav - 2/33
KP Navgire - 69 (34) | Shafali Varma 29 (15) | Simran Bahadur - 2/31

Right then. Despite the loss, Velocity seal their final spot against the Supernovas to set up an exciting clash on Friday. It was a sensational debut for S Meghana as she got the Trailblazers to a flier alongside Jemimah Rodrigues to help their side post a target of 190, which looked good for their qualification hopes at one stage.

A certain KP Navgire had other plans though. With only 159 needed to book their spot in the final, Yastika and Shafali set the tone for Velocity to get them off to a good start. However, it was Navgire's knock that blazed the Trailblazers away in this contest. The Nagaland all-rounder slaughtered the Trailblazers bowling unit, walloping a 34-ball 69 to put her side in the driving seat.

She did enough to ensure that Velocity secure their final spot and looked on course to wrap up the run chase at one point. However, she didn't get enough support from the other end as the Trailblazers continued to chip away with regular wickets. Eventually, Navgire lost her wicket in trying to keep up with the scoring rate but the damage had been done by then.

So, the defending champions bow out as a result of this result. They'll be watching this year's finals from their homes on Saturday, as the Supernovas go head-to-head against Velocity. Right. Stick around to read what the captains have to say.

19.6 Poonam Yadav to Kate Cross, OUT! WICKET TO END PROCEEDINGS TONIGHT! TRAILBLAZERS WIN BUT VELOCITY MAKE THE FINAL! Flighted on a length outside off stump. Cross advances and looks to go over long off. The lack of pace, though, means she gets under it but does not get enough power. In the end, she spoons it towards long off, where the fielder runs in from the fence and completes a regulation catch!
Kate Cross c Arundhati Reddy b Poonam Yadav 6 (6b 1x4 0x6)
19.5 Poonam Yadav to Natthakan Chantham, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Chantham goes back and cuts the ball into the off side towards point for one more run
19.4 Poonam Yadav to Kate Cross, length delivery outside off stump. Cross is out of her bunker again but only manages to drag it into the on side for another single
19.3 Poonam Yadav to Kate Cross, flighted on a full length outside off stump. Cross comes down the track and chalks the ball into the off side
19.2 Poonam Yadav to Kate Cross, FOUR! SHOT! Length delivery on middle and leg stump. Cross dances down the track and pounds it past long on for a boundary to reduce the margin of defeat!
19.1 Poonam Yadav to Natthakan Chantham, short delivery outside off stump. Chantham goes back and cuts the ball towards deep cover point for another single
Poonam Yadav [3.0-0-26-1] is back into the attack
The title defense for the defending champions is over. Velocity will have the chance to get their hands on the trophy for the first time, against two-time champions, the Supernovas. 24 needed in the final over, to finish this game.

18.6 Hayley Matthews to Natthakan Chantham, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Chantham goes back and pushes the ball towards deep cover point for a single
Natthakan Chantham, RHB, comes to the crease
18.5 Hayley Matthews to Simran Bahadur, OUT! KNOCKS HER OVER! Slower on a length on middle and leg stump. Simran comes down the track too early and is caught in no man's land. The ball is miles away from her and she has a hopeless waft at it. The ball breezes past the bat and smashes into leg stump! But Simran has scored 12 important runs for Velocity - runs that have taken them to the final!
18.4 Hayley Matthews to Simran Bahadur, length delivery just outside off stump. Simran comes half forward and defends the ball into the off side towards backward point
Simran Bahadur is no mug with the bat! Neither is Kate Cross. Velocity have qualified, but can they pull off something even more special and pull off this run chase?
