An own goal right at the end, which was a dagger in Chennaiyin hearts just 20 seconds after Thoi Singh missed a golden opportunity. Chennaiyin probably nicked the game on the balance of play, but you don't win games if you don't put balls in the back of the net. They have scored 11 goals in 17 games, which is truly abysmal. Jamshedpur move to sixth, Chennaiyin move down to eighth.

Hartley is free, and is just a few yards away from goal. Had he controlled it, he had an easy shot for the taking, and possibly a goal. But he didn't control.

Chennaiyin have had the better chances, but haven't scored yet. How many times have we said that this season? Jamshedpur have Ricky and Eze to thank, as they prevented Rahim Ali from scoring,with two perfect last-ditch interventions. Without Valskis, they do look a bit toothless up front though. Can they change things? Or can Chennaiyin put the ball in the back of the net? Find out when the second half begins in about 15 minutes.

45+1' Lanza looks for goal from the corner, but Rehenesh has punched that behind. He was under no pressure there, and should have caught that easily. 

45' Another massive block to prevent Rahim from scoring! Rahim goes through on goal after dispossessing Hartley, but Eze comes across and makes a sensational challenge to concede a corner. 

42' Hartley looks for a long lump forward to try and find the out-to-in run of Len. However, Kaith has come out quick enough to catch that. 

36' David Grande has failed to punish Kaith! The goalkeeper has thrown it straight to William, who has intercepted it. Grande takes a shot with his left foot, but he has dragged that wide. 

34' Another Chennaiyin shot on target which gets blocked. This time, it is Reagan with the shot from distance, but Eze has gone across to block it really well. 

30' What a block from Ricky! Chhangte flies down the left, and this time does magnificently. He cuts it back to Rahim, and si first-time shot is goal-bound, but Ricky has got his body in the way to prevent a certain goal. 

28' And again, Chhangte makes nothing off a chance after having the ball in the final third. He's overplayed it, when he should have played Lanza through on the left. Poor decision-making, and the chance is gone. 

27' In the opening 27 minutes, both these sides look like the two lowest goal-scorers in the league. Some decent approach play from both, but hardly any conviction or confidence in the final third. 

22' Much much better in the last few minutes from Jamshedpur. Lima is getting into encouraging positions in and around the box. 

18' Kaith gets out of jail there. Len Doungel's cross is spilled by the goalkeeper, with Grande in close attendance. However, William, who was contesting that ball with Kaith, is adjudged to be offside. 

17' Good play from Alex Lima. Gets into the box, after beating Sipovic. Chhuantea has a pop at a tackle, makes no contact, but Lima is already on the floor. Correct decision to not give a penalty. 

15' Chennaiyin definitely look the side playing the better football at this point, and the ones more likely to score. However, we've seen this too often with Chennai so far. Have they finally gotten rid of that deal with the devil which prevented balls hit by them from going into the net?

11' Alex Lima gets his head on that corner to clear the danger for Jamshedpur. 

11' Lanza is found by another superb diagonal, this time from Sabia. He's playe dit behind off Dinliana to win another corner. 

9' Decent ball from Monroy, but no one is there to attack it in the middle. Kaith comes out and catches it. 

8' Chhuantea jumps in on a tackle on Grande, but catches a bit of the man. Jamshedpur have a free-kick, which Monroy will take. 

4' Chhangte with a curler! Rehenesh is up to the business though. Memo plays a superb cross-field pass over to Chhangte on the left. He cuts in and lets fly with his right foot. Rehenesh gets across and parries that well away from a danger. 

1' Lima does well to carry the ball through midfield, and then beats German to get into the box. His attempted cross is deflected behind, but Kaith manages to prevent the corner.
