AEW Collision Live Results (December 9, 2023): Another injury, Kenny Omega attacked, Former WWE star returns, Potential split?

Post-match, Doc Samson checks in on Bryan Danielson. BCC members rush down the ring as well, as Andrade El Idolo goes out. Claudio Castagnoli exchanges some words with Andrade to end the show.

Both men unload on one another. Danielson kicks Andrade, but the latter responds with uppercuts and knee strikes. Andrade hits his finisher to pick up the win over Danielson.

Andrade El Idolo hits the 3 Amigos and gets a two-count. After a back-and-forth, El Idolo connects with a spinning backlist, only for a two-count.

Danielson and Andrade take each other down with lariats in the ring. They exchange strikes. The two are on the turnbuckles and Andrade drops Danielson down.

The BCC member makes his comeback with chops and strikes. Blood coming out from over Danielson's eye and possibly his nose. The American Dragon kicks Andrade, but the latter dodges it.

Andrade is in control of the bout. He places Danielson on the turnbuckles and hits some headbutts. Danielson's injury is worsening on Collision.

After a back-and-forth, Bryan Danielson dumps out Andrade El Idolo to the floor. Danielson's protective mask has been removed and he is busted open.

Andrade misses a charge in the corner and Danielson takes advantage with a dive to the outside. Danielson hits some chops and kicks on the floor.

Danielson kicks Andrade, and the latter retaliates with chops. Andrade hits some dragon screws and follows up with a forearm on the injured orbital bone.

The two share exchange some chain wrestling moves as Andrade El Idolo applies a side headlock. Danielson hits a shoulder tackle and drops Andrade on the mat.

Both stars show respect to one another. Andrade El Idolo applies an arm drag before Bryan Danielson turns things around.

Menard and Parker double team Komander for a two-count. Penta makes the save. The luchadors double team Angelo Parker for the win on Collision.

We see vignettes from the Continental Classic competitors.

Parker and Penta battle in the ring. Penta hits the Made in Japan for a two-count over Angelo Parker. Matt Menard comes in and applies a sharpshooter.

The action continues and Penta hits a series of sling blades. Penta and Komander hit baseball sliders and follow up with super kicks on the outside.

Penta and Komander stagger Menard and Parker. They catapult their opponents in the corner, but their double dives gets stopped.

Komander is tagged in. Angelo Parker comes in. The two stars have a standoff and Komander gets the upperhand shortly after.

Loud cheers for Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. Menard and Penta start the match. Penta kicks Menard before having a stalemate.

We see a backstage segment with CJ Perry. She hypes up Andrade El Idolo before Miro interrupts him. Miro questions why Perry doesn't praise him before saying he'll end Andrade once C2 is over.

We see vignette featuring Julia Hart and Abadon.

Post-match, Kenny Omega and Ethan Page show respect to one another. Big Bill comes out to the ramp and big boots Kenny Omega.

Towards the end, Kenny Omega connects with a couple of V-Triggers and follows up with the One-Winged Angel for the win.

Both stars are on the apron and Page connects with an avalanche slam from the top rope. Ethan Page gets a two-count.

After a back-and-forth, Omega hits a snap dragon, but Page powers out of another. Kenny Omega hits another snap dragon suplex.

The Cleaner misses a second V-Trigger. Ethan Page brings Omega down from the turnbuckles and hits a DDT for a two-count.

The two stars exchange strikes on the outside and Ethan Page takes down Omega with a shoulder tackle. Kenny finally connects with the V-Trigger on Page and gets a two-count.

Inside the ring, Ethan Page scoop slams Kenny Omega and whips him across the ring. Both stars tumble over the ropes and land on the floor. A botched spot?

The action spills to the outside and Omega hits chops on Page. All Ego sends The Cleaner to the barricades, but Omega hits a moonsault.

Page chops Omega in the corner. The Cleaner gets out and hit a hurricanrana on Page. Ethan Page hits a cutter through the ropes on Kenny Omega.

Both stars square off in the middle of the ring. Kenny Omega applies a sideheadlock and has a back-and-forth with Ethan Page.

After a back-and-forth, Wardlow catches Willie Mack and drops him down with a powerslam. He then drops Willie with a lariat and power bombs him. The referee calls for the bell.

Wardlow charges at Mack in the corner, but the latter moves out. Willie connects with a standing moonsault for a one-count.

Wardlow and Willie Mack lock up in the middle of the ring. Wardlow takes down Mack with a dropkick.

We see Matt Menard and Angelo Parker in a backstage segment. Jake Hager says he'll not be there. Saraya, Ruby Soho and Anna Jay come in. Saraya says Soho will have to prove herself alone against Riho next week.

We see a vignette from Swerve Strickland ahead of his match against Jon Moxley and says he is at the top of AEW.

Post-match, Mercedes Martinez and Diamante attack Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander comes out for the save.

Martinez lifts up Willow and drops her down on the mat. But Willow Nightingale rolls her up to steal the win.

After a back-and-forth, Willow gets another two-count. Nightingale takes out Diamante. Mercedes chops Willow and hits a fisherman bomb for a two-count.

Mercedes connects with 2 Amigos on Willow, but the latter gets the third. Nightingale faceplants Martinez on the mat and gets a two-count.

Mercedes Martinez stomps on Willow Nightingale before choking her on the ropes. Willow pushes Martinez away, but gets taken down in the corner.

Willow sends Mercedes on the outside, but the latter drives her spine first on the apron. Martinez slams Willow on the barricades.

It is Mercedes Martinez's AEW return. Both stars look to get the upperhand in the initial stages of the match. Mercedes Martinez stomps on Willow Nightingale in the corner. Willow drops her opponent down with a lariat.

Wheeler Yuta and Hook have a backstage confrontation. Yuta says he can make Hook's life a living hell. He challenges Hook to a FTW Rules match.

We see Jon Moxley cut a promo ahead of his match against Swerve Strickland. He warns Swerve and vows to defeat him.

Towards the end, Kingston connects with an elbow strike, but Claudio rolls him up. Eddie reverses it and steals the win on Collision.

Claudio misses a Ricola Bomb. The two stars have a back-and-forth, and Kingston connects with two urakens for a two-count.

Claudio Castagnoli drops Eddie Kingston on the mat and applies a STF. Kingston somehow reaches the bottom ropes.

He then follows up with machine gun chops and unloads on Claudio in the corner. He drops Claudio with a lariat and gets a two-count.

Eddie Kingston hits a couple of exploder suplexes and gets a two-count over Claudio Castagnoli.

Eddie Kingston tries to make his comeback with chops, but gets taken down. Claudio hits a waist lock suplex for a two-count.

Claudio is dominating Eddie in the corner and puts him on the turnbuckles. Kingston fights back, but gets taken down with a superplex.

Eddie KIngston and Claudio Castagnoli exchange strikes and chops, but the BCC member gets the upperhand. Another nearfall for Claudio.

Claudio unloads with uppercuts in the corner and follows up with a missile dropkick. He gets another two-count.
