AEW Collision Live Results (March 16, 2024): Major return after almost 2 years, Former WWE star debuts, Julia Hart retains, Bryan Danielson defeats returning star

Adam Copeland vows to end everything on the upcoming edition of Dynamite. The show ends with The Rated-R Superstar standing tall.

Copeland also brings up The Patriarchy taking him out with the conchairto. Copeland says that he contacted someone (Mick Foley) and got Spike made.

Copeland then brings up his history with Captain Charisma. He says he came to AEW to retire with Christian and not take his place.

Adam Copeland says he didn't think he would be in a ring in Ottawa again before thanking the crowd. Copeland then address Christian Cage and his friend Jay is dead.

Adam Copeland comes out with his mysterious box, Spike.

House of Black take Bravo out on the announce table. Towards the end of the match, Mark Briscoe comes out with a steel chair and costs House of Black the match. Shawn Dean gets the pin on Buddy Matthews.

The Infantry win

Carlie Bravo is surrounded by House of Black. Buddy Matthews connects with a kick on Bravo. Brody King hits the Dante's Inferno on Shawn Dean, but Bravo breaks the count.

Shawn Dean comes in and unloads on Buddy Matthews. Brody King comes in. Dean is standing fir, but gets flattened by King.

Buddy Matthews kicks Carlie Bravo on the back and one for Shawn Dean as well. Bravo gets a two-count with a roll up.

Buddy Matthews takes out Captain Shawn Dean with a running kick. King and Matthews dominate Bravo in their corner.

The match starts and House of Black continue their assault. Brody King hits a running cannonball senton on Carlie Bravo for a two-count.

House of Black vs. The Infantry

House of Black attack The Infantry before the bell even rings. They launch an assault on the outside.

Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa are in a backstage segment. Purrazzo brings up Toni Storm tapping out at Revolution. Deonna and Rosa put Storm and Mariah May on notice ahead of their match.

After some back-and-forth, KOR hits a lariat and follows up with a sheer drop brainbuster for a two-count. He quickly applies the armbar for the win.

Kyle O'Reilly wins

Bryan Keith connects with a headbutt and gets a two-count with a knee strike. He gets another with a powerbomb.

Kyle O'Reilly tries for a submission, but Bryan Keith reaches the rope. KOR applies the triangle choke before kicking Keith.

Keith kicks KOR before the two exchange some strikes on the head. Keith chokes KOR on the ropes. KOR makes his comeback and hits a running forearm shot.

The action spills to the outside and KOR briefly connects with some kicks. But Keith drops him down on the floor.

Kyle O'Reilly vs. Bryan Keith

Bryan Keith applies a headlock in the early stages of the match. The two stars have a back-and-forth before Keith hits a DDT on Kyle O'Reilly.

Kyle O'Reilly returns to in-ring action after almost 2 years.

Soho says the heels are baiting him and if wants to fight tonight he'll have to do it alone. Parker agrees to not fight Zodiac tonight.

Angelo Parker and Ruby Soho are in a backstage segment. Parker is unhappy about Zodiac not fighting him tonight and looks to chase after Saraya's brother.

Katsuyori Shibata also comes out to the ring with steel chair and chases the heels away.

Claudio has Archer lifted up for the Giant Swing, but The Righteous come out and attack the Swiss star. Bryan Danielson rushes out for the save, but gets outnumbered.

NO CONTEST

Claudio Castagnoli gets back into the match with uppercuts and he follows up with a cutter. He then hits a spinning European uppercut for a two-count.

Claudio hits another uppercut on the outside before Archer hits a knee strikes. Archer gets a two-count with a chokeslam.

Archer is looking for the DDT, but Claudio responds with a suplex. Lance Archer stops his momentum. He looks for a top rope move, but Claudio hits an uppercut.

Lance Archer wears down Claudio Castagnoli and mocks him in the middle of the ring. Archer gets a pinfall attempt and Claudio barely kicks out.

We have a slugfest and Claudio dumps Archer out of the ring. Archer looks for a choke slam, but fails. He however connects with a running senton on the floor to get the upperhand.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Lance Archer

It is Lance Archer's return on Collision. The two stars have a back-and-forth before Archer hits a scoop slam, but Claudio Castagnoli gets up immediately.

We see Bryan Danielson in a backstage segment. He is happy about his match against Katsuyori Shibata. He then focuses on Will Ospreay and claims the latter is not on his level.

Danielson brings up his and Shibata's career almost ending before sending a warning to Ospreay to end the segment.

Post-match, PAC says he is looking for some trouble, but Aaron Solo is not him. He warns Tony Khan to find some trouble or he'll do it himself.

PAC hits the Black Arrow in quick fashion before applying a submission to pick up an impressive win.

The two stars have a back-and-forth early on before PAC stomps on Aaron Solo.

PAC makes his Collision debut.

We get a recap about Darby Allin's match against Jay White and how he suffered a broken foot.

Garcia hits a chop block on Moriarty and gets some brief offense, but the latter retaliates. Daniel Garcia has the heel hook locked in and that is enough for the win.

After some distraction from Shane Taylor, Moriarty hits a dive to the outside to gain the momentum.

Lee Moriarty comes in hot before the two stars have a back-and-forth. Daniel Garcia hits a shotgun dropkick to get the upperhand in the match.

We see Zac Knight and Harley Cameron in a backstage segment. He refuses to face Angelo Parker in Canada.

Towards the end of the match, Julia Hart connects with a moonsault to pick up the win over Trish Adora.

Julia Hart trips Trish Adora, but the latter turns things around for a two-count. Adora hits a German for another nearfall. She misses a back senton and Hart makes her comeback.

Adora hits some running lariats and follows up with a shoulder breaker for a two-count on Julia Hart. She misses a pump kick and Hart hits a running lariat.

Hart has Adora locked on the ropes, but the latter looks to power her way out. The House of Black has locked Trish Adora in a submission move in the middle of the ring.

Julia Hart and Trish Adora have a back-and-forth before the action spills to the outside. Hart slams Adora on the barricades to get the upperhand.

Post-match, the two stars show respect to one another before Bryan Danielson celebrates in the ring.

Towards the end, after some roll ups, Bryan Danielson manages to get the better of Katsuyori Shibata on Collision.

The two have a sit-down face-off before Bryan Danielson misses a Busaikuu Knee. Shibata applies the Iron Octopus, but Danielson gets a rope break.
