Hangman finishes Cole off with the Buckshot Lariat!

'Hangman' Adam Page defeats Adam Cole to retain the AEW World Championship

Hangman uses his belt to tie Cole to the top rope. He hits a few superkicks, while Cole hits one of his own. Hangman gets the better of this exchange and hits the Boom himself.

Dark Order comes out to check on Hangman and support him. They start brawling with ReDRagon. Meanwhile, Hangman hits the Buckshot Lariat on Cole but he gets his hand on the rope!

We get a battle between superkicks and lariats. Cole goes for another Boom but Hangman simply collapses. Fish and O'Reilly grab the timekeeper's table and tell Cole to finish it. Hangman reverses it into a Dead Eye through the table.

Cole hits the Panama Sunrise outside the ring. He hits another one in the ring, following a low blow. Cole follows it up with the Boom but Hangman kicks out!

Hangman hits a Moonsault Fallaway Slam from the top rope and goes for the Buckshot Lariat, but a distraction from ReDRagon allows Cole to superkick him off the apron.

Hangman hits a deadlift German suplex but is thwarted by a knee to the back of the neck. Still no sign of victory.

Hangman hits a Tombstone for a two-count. We've seen more Tombstones today than during a prime Undertaker streak match. And none of them have won a match.

Cole hits a Superkick, while Hangman hits a rolling elbow strike. Cole locks in the Crossface next.

Hangman escapes a sunset bomb from the top rope, before countering Cole's counter. He goes for the Moonsault but Cole superkicks him in mid-air.

Cole hits a Backstabber but Hangman hits the Liger Bomb for a two-count. This match has been quite even so far.

Hangman powerbombs Cole on the apron and hits the Orihara Moonsault on the outside.

Cole reverses a fireman's carry with a backstabber-type move, before hitting a low superkick. He goes for Panama Sunrise but Hangman boots him in mid-air.

Cole hits the Ushigoroshi and continues to have the upper hand. He stomps on Hangman in the corner.
