The Spurs star has landed in Italy today, and will undergo medicals at Inter Milan. It is expected that the deal will be concluded and Inter will unveil him officially in the coming days.

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta had this to say recently:

"You all know that we are negotiating with Tottenham. I am optimistic and I hope everything can be concluded quickly because the market closes on Friday and we hope to conclude the negotiations in the next few days."

According to reports, It looks like Arsenal may lose the deal to bring Pablo Mari to the Emirates as the 26-year-old is currently headed back to Brazil. He had arrived from Flamengo on Saturday for his medicals, but a sudden hitch in negotiations has ground everything to a halt.

The former Manchester City star still has a chance to play for Arsenal, but that remains dependent on how negotiations - which are still ongoing - end up.

With AS Roma's 31-year-old midfielder currently on an indefinite suspension at loan club Galatasaray, West Ham, Burnley, and Rennes have expressed interest in acquiring his temporary services.

N'zonzi, who has played for Stoke and Blackburn, will certainly bring a lot of Premier League experience for Burnley or West Ham if he does agree on terms.

Manchester United remain short of Sporting Lisbon's valuation of Bruno Fernandes, although discussions have shown no signs of slowing down between both clubs.

Last week, they were over £10m apart in their valuation with United willing to pay £42m, after having agreed to a £55m earlier. As talks progress, United are now willing to pay just over £46m, but it still remains noticeably distant from Sporting's valuation.

Gianluca Petrachi, the sports director for AS Roma spoke with optimism about Carles Perez recently.

“We continue with our philosophy, investing in young talented players. The negotiations [for Pérez] are at an advanced stage. Obviously, we need to convince him we have the right sports project here for him.

“I never say that anything is complete until it is all signed, but I'm optimistic. Roma are nobody’s feeder club, so if anyone comes here they will be a Roma player. There will be no repurchase option.”
