Welcome to today's coverage of WWE Evolution!  There are several matches announced on the card already, making for a stacked event in the second-ever WWE Evolution. The stars are all here, and this show is kicking off in a big way already.  We will be starting with Evolution right now! Joe Tessitore welcomes us to the show! Stephanie McMahon is out for a major announcement! Stephanie says that NXT has some of the best women's wrestling in the world and that the show is going to be huge with the main roster having their work cut out for them.  Michael Cole joins Wade Barrett on tonight's show. Still no Pat McAfee in here! The commentator is missing! We start with the Women's Intercontinental Championship Match:  Bayley vs Becky Lynch (c) vs Lyra Valkyria Becky Lynch is out in some rather odd garment choices, but now it's all about the title. This is a match for the ages as two veterans battle for the title, while an up-and-coming rookie stands up for herself, getting a huge shot at the title.  Valkyria falls and crashes to the ground after being taken out by Bayley. Lyra comes back and attacks her as well.  Bayley with a roll-up on Valkyria for a near-fall. There are multiple roll-up attempts. Bayley hits Becky with a knee and then is taken down by Valkyria. They are all pushing their chances early on.  Becky's knee is hurt, and she rolls out of the ring. Her knee seems to be badly hurt! Bayley and Lyra continue.  Bayley and Becky battle, with Lynch stepping gingerly. She must be in her head right now after Seth Rollins' injury yesterday. She takes out both Lyra and Bayley.  Valkyria with the crossbody on Bayley, but is driven into the steps by Becky.  BECKSPLODER! Bayley's right knee is hurt, and Becky works on it. Her arm and knee are both hurt.  Bayley kicks out at 2. Becky is beating her down at the moment. She puts the pressure on her neck and continues to torture her.  Lyra has mostly been out since hitting the stairs. But she comes back finally and dives on both women. Double crossbody sees her take out both Becky and Bayley at the same time. She hits the rolling kick to take out Bayley. Roll through from the Manhandle Slam saves her, and she hits the Northern Lights Suplex on Becky, followed by a Fisherman. Bayley with an elbow! Bayley rolls into a sunset flip bomb into Lyra, who was upside down. Becky is still hurt. Gets near falls again.  It was a botch as she missed the sunset flip! Becky kicks out at Lyra and hits the Superplex to Bayley. Disarmher! Lyra breaks up the Disarmher with a huge Leg drop for a near-fall.  Becky Lynch hits the reverse DDT and the DDT to Lyra and Bayley. Near-fall again. The women are getting frustrated now.  Becky tries the Manhandle Slam, but Lyra rolls her up. She hits the Manhandle slam but it's still not enough with Bayley breaking it up.  BAYLEY TO BELLY! HUGE SHOT! Lyra breaks it up.  Nightwing, but Bayley breaks it up.  Lyra with the Jackknife, and Bayley rolls her up. They try different pinning combos. Rose Plant! Bayley nearly gets it. Backslide pin by Becky steals it! She wins, but she looks hurt. Her leg is not supporting her! Becky Lynch wins Ava, Mark Henry, and Vickie Guerrero are all here. It's now time for the NXT Women's Championship match! Jacy Jayne vs Jordynne Grace Blake Monroe is accompanying Jordynne Grace to the ring.  Jacy makes her way out with the rest of Fatal Influence, as she looks to defend her title. Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley are out to support her.  Jacy takes a few extra moments with the title and seems to be saying goodbye to it. The star may be losing the title by the end of this.  Jacy beats down Grace and hits her with the throat into the ropes. This is already quite a hard-hitting match.  Jacy keeps working on the throat of Grace, but she comes back with a spinebuster. Jordynne and Jacy exchange shots, and now she suffers for it. Jacy hits multiple chops back as Blake Monroe looks on.  Grace stops the knee and hits her with the reverse powerbomb into the turnbuckle. She goes for another powerbomb and connects it, but it's a near-fall.  Grace hits the elbow on Jacy. She eats a big boot and focuses on the neck again.  Knee to the face on Grace. She hits the draping neckbreaker for the near-fall.  The move is very similar to Orton's DDT, but it turns into a neckbreaker instead.  Grace hits the Twisted Fisherman buster.  Jordynne goes to the top rope. Jacy hits the knee again and follows up with the Hurricanrana.  Henley tosses the NXT title to Jacy, and Monroe takes her out. Jordynne rolls up the distracted Jacy, and it's a nearfall.  Blake Monroe hits Grace with the title suddenly! What a betrayal! That's it! Jacy wins! Jacy Jayne wins Blake Monroe joins Jacy Jayne. She seems to know exactly what she was doing.  Maryse, Jacqueline, and many other legends are already here in attendance.  It's now time for the Women's Tag Team Title Match! Kabuki Warriors vs The Judgment Day vs Sol Ruca and Zaria vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss This is Sol Ruca and Zaria's main roster PLE debut. Charlotte tries to cover up for Alexa to annoy her, and they have an exchange. These two are not getting along yet.  This will be the first time that Roxanne and Raquel will tag together. What a moment.  Kairi Sane starts the match against Roxanne Perez. They come to blows quick. Kairi hits the hurricanrana and then the sliding tackle.  Asuka and Kairi work together and hit the double team dropkick on Roxanne.  Asuka and Kairi are mowed down by Raquel, who punishes Kairi and slams her into Asuka.  Raquel and Roxanne beat down Asuka, isolating her.  We want Charlotte chants ring out in a huge twist.  Alexa Bliss comes in and she gets an ovation, taking out everyone in her way.  Roxanne claws at the eyes of Alexa and she's hurt. Sol Ruca and Zaria work on Bliss, with the star now hurting. She tries to get Charlotte in but Raquel stops it.  Charlotte is finally tagged in and hits the crossbody on Raquel and Roxanne! She hits Roxanne and Raquel with chops. The audience loves her, but commentators say that she is the most hated woman in the locker room.  Charlotte is getting a babyface reaction for the first time in quite some time. She tries the Figure Eight, but Raquel breaks it up.  Asuka hits suplexes all over the ring. She hits her strikes and then goes for the shot with Kairi coming in for the neckbreaker, Zaria breaks up the pin and she tries to take on both the Kabuki Warriors.  They work their double team and take down Zaria. She hits them with a double suplex.  Charlotte breaks up the pin, and she eats the Soul Snatcher from Sol Ruca. That came out of nowhere. Alexa lands on her feet and hits Sister Abigail, but no, Ruca counters. Zaria goes for the spear in a double team but accidentally hits Sol.  Charlotte saves Alexa.  Raquel and Roxanne have taken over. Raquel hits the Tijana Bomb, and they win the match and retain the title , pinning Sol Ruca. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez retain Stephanie McMahon asks what Liv Morgan will think of Roxanne's work with the Judgment Day.  Lilian Garcia had to be replaced tonight, thanks to health issues she faced. She revealed that Alicia Taylor was replacing her.  "Life can definitely throw some unexpected twists and turns, and unfortunately, I’m at the receiving end of one of them. I was so excited to be announcing @wwe Saturday Nights Main Event and @wwe Evolution this weekend but because of lingering effects of a respiratory infection I got some weeks ago, I was only able to announce SNME last night before my voice started wigging out. 🥴," she wrote. It's now time for Tiffany Stratton vs Trish Stratus for the WWE Women's Championship Will the legend become a champion at her age? Is it time for one last run? Trish Stratus brings Tiffany down. Even now, the star has all the capabilities in the world.  Stratton gets back into the match and hits a snap suplex, pushing Trish to her limit.  Stratus hits the hurricanrana on the outside, taking out Tiffany Stratton.  Stratus and Stratton beat each other down as they exchange shots. Stratton hits the back elbow to Stratus with a near-fall. The match has slowed down, and she's pulling out different moves as she tries to put the legend away.  Stratton hits the Swanton, but Stratus still kicks out.  That Swanton was a beautiful homage to Jeff Hardy! Trish gets the Stratusfaction. What a near-fall.  Stratton got the knees up. She hits the Alabama Slam and then the Prettiest Moonsault Ever! Tiffany Stratton defeats Trish Stratus Zero title changes so far.  Trish Stratus retires. She gets the ovation and says goodbye to fans.  Metro Boomin has the WWE Hardcore Title! Now, it's time for Naomi vs Jade Cargill in a No Holds Barred Match Now, it's time for Jade Cargill vs Naomi with Bianca Belair as the special referee This is gonna be a big match, with Bianca already trying to call it down the middle! Jade Cargill throws Naomi against the barrier. She is hurt and the match is stopped as Bianca asks her if she wants to continue.  Naomi gets chairs in and bins in as well. She sets it up and puts Jade's face on the steel chair.  Steel chain used to choke Cargill! Jade Cargill gets a camera and used it to hit Naomi. She throws it out.  Accident as a TV monitor blows up and smoke comes out. Jade is hurt.  TABLE LEG DRIVEN INTO THE EYE OF JADE CARGILL. She's hurt and is sent to the apron.  Naomi plants Cargill on the chair. She's struggling right now.  Naomi sets up a table. She puts Cargill on it with a chair. Cargill gets up and hits Naomi with the chair to the spine.  JADED FROM THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE TABLE TO NAOMI! IT'S OVER! Jade Cargill defeats Naomi Belair raises Jade's arm and there's tension between the two.  Now, it's time for the Battle Royal! Nia, Candice, Stephanie, and a lot of other stars are in. Nikki Bella and Chelsea Green are also present for a huge field of stars. Nia Jax wastes no time in eliminating Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley first. She throws Kelani Jordan out, but she lands on the table.  Kelani handwalks herself back into the ring! WHAT A KOFI KINGSTON MOMENT! The match has stagnated, while Stephanie tries to take out Ivy. She puts Ivy in a handlock. Giulia helps and eliminates Ivy. Nikki and Giulia do battle! Stephanie and Giulia do battle and Vaquer is standing tall.  Chelsea Green breaks up the Devil's Kiss. She slaps Nikki Bella! Triple Team on Nikki. Maxxine and Natalya help her! Those three are a faction now! Jaida Parker eliminates Natalya. Maxxine goes after her, and they go at it. Candice throws Maxxine out, and Jaida almost gets Candice out. Kelani takes out Candice LeRae!  Michael Cole calls Candice LeRae Candice Michelle again. Candice LeRae throws Kelani out again.  Zelina Vega gets Giulia out. She has her feud there. B-Fab eliminated now! Lash Legend presses Zelina Vega and takes her out. Alba, Chelsea, and Piper Niven are still together.  ALBA ELIMINATED BY NIKKI! Stephanie Vaquer hits the Devil's Kiss on Chelsea! Lash Legend eliminates a legend. Nikki Bella is gone.  Final three are Stephanie, Lash, and Nia! FINAL THREE! But Nia is eliminated by the combined efforts of Stephanie and Lash! This is THE opportunity! Stephanie hits the 619 on Lash. She goes for the Springboard but is caught by Legend. She hits the Powerbomb, but Lash takes her over.  DEVIL'S KISS ON THE APRON BY STEPHANIE, AND THROWS HER OUT OF THE RING. Stephanie Vaquer wins and is getting a title shot in Paris Nia Jax is frustrated and attacks Michael Cole! Stephanie McMahon interviews Stephanie Vaquer, but does not really ask a question, just stands there. It's now time for the final match of the night! Women's World Championship Match: IYO SKY (C) vs Rhea Ripley Rhea has never beaten IYO. Will it happen tonight? IYO SKY TEARS UP LOOKING AT HER TITLE. IS SHE LOSING IT TONIGHT? Rhea is dominating early on.  Rhea takes down IYO multiple times. She hits multiple shots to the head, and snapmare sees IYO land on her feet. Rhea beats down IYO, and works on her, but they know what is coming for both stars. She lifts up IYO and throws her against the corner repeatedly.  Rhea puts IYO on the apron. She tries the moonsault and connects! IYO works on Rhea, putting her in the crossface.  IYO has more control of Rhea than most women have ever come close to.  IYO and Rhea fight on the apron, and Rhea connects with a knee. She sends IYO into the announce table. Rhea works on IYO and hits her with the backbreaker. She follows it with a suplex before trying a pin.  Rhea tortures IYO with the legllock. She tries to get out with a pin, but Rhea hits the dropkick. IYO is being forced to kick out repeatedly.  Rhea puts on an abdominal stretch. IYO screams in pain, and she's really hurt. She gets back into the match with the DDT. Rhea and Iyo go blow for blow. Face-first by IYO. Rhea is hurt and eats a kick. She hits the German Suplex to Ripley.  IYO hits the Tope taking out Rhea. She goes to the top rope. Rhea gets up. IYO hits the missile dropkick and gets right back up.  Bullet Train attack for a near-fall there for IYO.  Rhea fell on the back of her head and bounces off the turnbuckle, falling hard.  IYO tries the pedigree but it is reversed! IYO with the Poisonrana. Is this it? No, she kicks out.  Razor's Edge. Sit outpowerbomb! That should be it! NO IYO KICKS OUT! Rhea tries the Riptide. IYO gets out and puts on the sleeper.  Rhea tries the superplex but gets knocked down. IYO takes out the referee accidentally! RIPTIDE! But there's no referee in the ring! The match continues.  Rhea and IYO battle in the crowd. They go too far.  Rhea has lost it now.  IYO CLIMBS HIGH ON THE BOXES AND TAKES OUT RHEA WITH A CROSSBODY! The match continues outside the ring in the crowd. There are no referees, and they are doing whatever it takes.  IYO hits the knee into the announce table. That hurt her. Rhea throws her in the ring and then breaks down in tears.  IYO WITH THE MOONSAULT, RHEA KICKS OUT! Rhea keeps going and she has a big support now. IYO hits the stomp. Rhea goes to the top rope for the Top Rope move, but IYO hits the Spanish Fly.  NAOMI IS OUT! Naomi cashes in the briefcase. She takes out IYO with the briefcase and then throws Rhea out. Split Legged Moonsault, She's done it! Naomi is the new Women's World Champion There's a new champion now! Naomi has DONE it! What a win! No one expected Naomi to do it there, but it's done now.
