Kyle O'Reilly vs. Pete Dunne vs. Johnny Gargano ends in a No Contest due to Adam Cole's interference.
Jake Atlas defeats LA Knight by pin.
Kushida defeats Carmelo Hayes by submission.
Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae defeat Zayda Ramier and Zoey Stark by pin.
MSK defeat Legado Del Fantasma by pin.

Result: MSK defeat Legado Del Fantasma by pin.

MSK gets control and hits their finisher for the win. Could we be headed to a 6-man match for TakeOver?

Wilde hits a Hurricanrana off the top rope and Mendoza catches it and turns it into a power bomb. Two count. Mendoza kicks Lee out of the ring into Escobar's face. Escobar throws Lee into the steel steps. Legado hits their finisher before Carter breaks up the pin. Escobar is livid outside the ring and Bronson Reed emerges and splashes Escobar into the plexi. He sells it fabulously.

Mendoza knocks Carter off the ring apron before quick tags over and over.

Lee tags in Carter and he gives kicks to everyone. Strangely, he tags Lee back in and they hit the assisted flip finisher for a quick fall. Mendoza hits a blind tag and hits a swinging neck breaker for another near fall.

Mendoza goes for a power bomb but Lee counters it into a DDT.

Legado hits some tandem offense for another near fall. Wilde continues the control and gets another two count. He hits a spring board moonsault for yet another near fall.

The match resumes with Maskdoza and Wes Lee. Doza hits a cartwheel kick to Lee, who is perched on the top rope. He gets a near fall and continues to stomp on Lee.

MSK lands some high-flying offense to gain control as the commercials begin.

As all four men are prone in the ring, GYV comes down, pulling up their sleeves. Before they can do anything, Ciampy and Thatcher blindside them and take them away from ringside.

Legado works Carter over before he gets out. In comes Wes Lee and they hit a bunch of moves before a near fall. All four men are knocked down.

Since Legado always talks about legacy of Lucha, you have to think they'd feud with Rey Mysterio before he retires.

Nash Carter misses a bronco buster. That had ta hurt. Legado has control as Escobar laughs.

Escobar is by the announce table, decked out in his best game show host jacket.

Time for the main event!! MSK defends against Legado. Mendoza has a mask on as if he has a facial injury (it's not a Lucha mask).

Ember Moon will face Dakota Kai next week and presumably Gonzalez at TakeOver.

A promo for the Diamond Mine says "opening soon."

Karrion Kross' opponents for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: In Your House confirmed

Mercedes Martinez says she's always been a marked woman and that she's going to run through Xia Li at TakeOver. Grimes vs. Knight also announced.

Ramier heads to her corner but LeRae knocks Stark off the apron. She eventually tags in like a house of fire, landing an Enuzguri after a handstand. She gets a near fall. In comes Ramier and another quick fall. Hartwell breaks it up and she backdrops Stark over the top. LeRae knocks Ramier down. LeRae hits the Wicked Stepsister and Indi hits an elbow off the top rope for the win.
Result: Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae defeat Zayda Ramier and Zoey Stark by pin.

Hartwell and Ramier start it out but Candice comes in quickly. The Champs maintain quick tags while isolating Ramier.

Backstage we get Franky Monet talking about her debut. Says she's just getting started. In the ring we have Zoey Stark and Zayda Ramier facing the Way.

Adam Cole returns to NXT; Interferes in No. 1 Contender's match

Kushida counters and lands some strikes, including his fastball punch. Both men counter some moves before Kushida punt kicks Hayes's arm. He locks in the Hoverboard Lock for the win.
Result: Kushida defeats Carmelo Hayes by submission.

Hayes and Kushida exchange chest chops before Kushida lands a kick and more strikes. He goes for a palm strike but Hayes dodges it. He hits a leg scissors slam for another quick fall.

The men get back into the ring and Hayes hits a Superkick, a move off of his shoulders and a springboard off the ropes for a near fall. Impressive sting of moves.

Hayes keeps pressure on Kushida until the Champ hits a handstand strike on Hayes that sends him off the ring apron and into the plexi.

Kushida misses a chop in the corner and Hayes lands a springboard leg drop to Kushida draped on the ropes. Two count.

Kushida slows things down with a headlock and a springboard back elbow.

The wrestlers trade some offense before Hayes hits a Capoeira Kick for another near fall.

Hayes gets a quick two count. He lands some kicks and arm drags on the Champ.

Also before the match, Dexter Lumis puts on Indi's headphones and almost, I say almost, cries.

Before Kushida's match, we get Tian Sha and Xia Li referencing the Mae Young Classic where Mercedes disrespected her. She lays down a challenge for TakeOver.

Kushida will be facing a debuting Carmelo Hayes for the Open Challenge.

We go backstage Indi and Candice. Indi is listening to '80s power ballads cuz she's heart-broken.

In Kross' defense, NXT did give Cole his own faction to rule NXT for four years. Just sayin'. Cole almost hits Scarlett when throwing something into the ring.

And already, this is more intriguing than any of the other three guys facing Kross. Regal tries to say Cole isn't getting his wish before Kross cuts him off. Kross says he wants everyone (Dunne, Cole, KOR, Gargs) at TakeOver. He also calls Cole a "gas-station weasel" whatever that is.
