Will we have a new North American Champion crowned tonight?

...
And, with that, I bid you all a good night. Stay safe, take care of each other, and try not to look directly at Cameron Grimes if you don't want to damage your retinas.

I'm outta here.
...
So... with that history lesson out of the way, let's see who won what tonight.

Results:
NXT North American Champion Damian Priest defeated Dexter Lumis
Imperium defeated Killian Dain and Drake Maverick
Candice Larae defeated Shotzi Blackheart
Johnny Gargano defeated Austin Theory
Jake Atlas defeats Ashante "Thee" Adonis

...
...
For reference.... Sting and Jake "The Snake" Roberts concluded their feud at Halloween Havoc 1992 in a Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal match.

The wheel wasn't rigged however and WCW went with whatever match it actually landed on... which was a Coal Miner's Glove match.
...
Regal comes out to confront Larae and Gargano. He informs them that they will, indeed, have their title matches at Halloween Havoc. HOWEVER, the stakes have been hired (hey, that's what he said) and invites the host of Halloween Havoc and girl I totally would have asked out in high school Shotzi Blackheart what those stakes are.

SPIN THE WHEEL. MAKE THE DEAL.
...
As Priest starts to leave the ring, he sees Grimes slide in, looking to attack Lumis. Priest doesn't care for that at all and lays him out with The Reckoning.

And then GARGANO ATTACKS PRIEST!
...
Priest wins.  And I have to bleach my eyeballs because Grimes was on my TV

RESULT: Damian Priest defeats Dexter Lumis
...
And here comes Cameron Grimes to interfere. Ugh.
...
Lumis locks in Silence on Priest, looking to tap him out, but Priest gets his "long, lanky legs" on the ropes.
...
Lumis off the top with a flying senton, but Priest moves and Lumis crashes hard.
...
Priest goes for the Razor's Edge, but Lumis kind of wiggles his way out. Nice move.
...
I don't want to to sound like damning with faint praise, as I have really high opinions on both of these guys, but both of them are going to be STARS once Vince McMahon gets his hands on them.

Coming up next... NXt North American Champion Damian Priest defends his belt against Dexter "Just Renewed By Showtime" Lumis

As Imperium leave, Ever-Rise hit the ring, looking to assault Maverick without Dain around.

Except Dain is around and lays the two Canadians out in seconds. He then look right at Maverick...

"Nobody hits you... BUT ME!"
...
Dain tags in and starts to clear house before Imperium gets the upper hand. Maverick tags in and starts to make some progress. However, Dain gets taken off the ring apron and Maverick eats the pin.

RESULT Imperium defeats Killian Dain and Drake Maverick
...
Dain starts the match and it looks like it's gonna be a short bout... then he violently tags in Maverick. Drake then spends the next few minutes getting his rear end handed to him
...
It's time for Imperium vs Furry & the Fury.... er... Dain and Maverick
...
...
William Regal is backstage, discussing the Shotzi Blackheart/Candice Larae match. He can't change the result of the match, but he can up the stakes for Larae's title match - he just hasn't decided how yet. He also books Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Gonzalez for that same show.

Meanwhile, Xia Li and BOA approach Regal, pleading for her to get a match next week. Regal says he'll consider it,
...
And.... after just a few minutes and some token offense from Aliyah, Toni Storm hits the Storm Zero powerbomb and gets the pin.

RESULT: Toni Storm defeats Aliyah.
...
Looks like Aliyah will be Toni Storm's first opponent back.
...
...
...
Oh, so THAT'S what those were....
...
Before we head to commercial break, we get a pretty cool video package hyping up Toni Storm.
...
Drake Maverick has big news for his erstwhile partner Killian Dain - he's hired a marketing company! That doesn't go over well.

Also, Drake and Killian have a match against Imperium tonight, too! That goes over even worse.
...
Candice is on the arena floor and... Indi Hartwell is in the crowd! She hands Candice.... something.

Larae back in the ring and nails Blackheart with... whatever it was... and gets the win.

RESULT: Candice Larae defeats Shotzi Blackheart
...
Shotzi goes for a top rope moonsault, but Larae gets her knees up! Rolls her up! Only a 2 count.
...
An exhausted Blackheart and Larae fighting on the ring apron as we head into a commercial break.
...
Blackheart and Larae have been putting on a pretty decent match themselves. Shotzi has been showcasing some pretty great moves, and Larae has done an amazing job of keeping the pacing of the match steady.
...
From one Gargano to another, Candice Larae and Shotzi Blackheart begin their #1 contender's match
...
...
...
Raquel Gonzalez and Rhea Ripley are about to go at it and beat each other up backstage, but a whole squadron of mask-wearing backstage guys dive in between them.

They're probably just made that they aren't wearing masks.
...
"Sometimes when you lose, you really win," OK, Wade Barrett
...
Gargano with the One Final Beat and we have our winner

RESULT: Johnny Gargano defeats Austin Theory
...
Theory goes for a superkick (after looking into the camera and saying hi to Johnny's mom for some reason), but Gargano blocks it and nails him with one of his own.
...
...
Theory rolls up Gargano in one of those British Bulldog SummerSlam 1991 At Wembly pins and nearly gets a 3. But does not.
...
Gargano is really making Theory look like a million dollars.
...
Back from commercial and Gargano has Theory in an abdominal stretch, which I'm still not convinced is a real move.
