Dream leaps off the top rope, going for the Purple Rainmaker, but Cole moves. Dream crashes hard.

Anyway, Dream nailed Cole with something while the ref was looking in on Roddy, and then commercial.

There's four minutes left in this show... they're going to a commercial now??

Pete Dunne comes to ringside and attacks Roderick Strong!

Leon Ruff leaves William Regal's office and we find out that Ruff will get his rematch against Johnny Gargano for the North American Championship.

Rust, however, rolls Divari up in a Rings of Saturn and gets him to tap out.

RESULT: Tyler Rust defeats Divari

Divari has Rust on the mat, slapping him and trash talking (literally calling him "garbage"). Rust grabs him in a Triangle Hold and Divari just barely gets the ropes.

Which I'm not criticizing, by the way.

Malcolm Bivens walks over to the announce table - just as Beth Pheonix is talking, making it even clearer than ever before that she isn't actually there.

Dexter Lumis, the host of the upcoming New Year's Evil, has a new drawing for us...

and it announces a Last Woman Standing match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez.

Oh yeah. Riddle's last NXT match was against Thatcher in a "fight pit"

Ciampa: "I'll see you in the fight pit!"

WTF is the "fight pit." A pit for fighting, I suppose, that was a dumb question, never mind.

Thatcher starts to attack Ruff out of rage. He tosses him into the ring for more punishment, but Ciampa cuts him off and nails him with Willow's Bell!

Thatcher gets his bearings back and starts to work over Ruff's leg... but Ruff with another small package and gets the win!

RESULT: Leon Ruff defeats Timothy Thatcher

Thatcher gets back into the ring and Ruff rolls him up into a small package! 2-count.

As Wade Barrett so accurately put it, Thatcher could end this match whenever he wants.

Thatcher heads out to the floor and grabs a chair. Rather than use it as a weapon, though, he sets it up in front of the ring, as an invitation to Tomasso Ciampa.

It's time for Timothy Thatcher vs former NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff and, remember... Thatcher promised to put Ruff through a world of hurt tonight.

Gargano spent 17 hours in a junkyard looking for the final remnants of the tank of Shotzi Blackheart's that Candice destroyed. It's a wheel - even though Gargano hates wheels.

It's time for more Gargano Christmas, and Johnny gives Candice her present.

Before she can call Storm out, however, Mercedes Martinez attacks her from behind! She's back!

McKenzie catches up with NXT Women's champion Io Shirai, asking her if she caught Toni Storm's comments regarding her earlier.

Io: "Yes, I did. Watch this." Points to a guy in the back "Hit my music"

Well, it doesn't matter because Reed his the Tsunami and gets the win.

RESULT: Bronson Reed defeats Ashante "Thee" Adonis

Ashante "Thee" Adonis is his "no entrance" opponent and... weren't they just building him up as something special just a few weeks ago?
