WWE NXT Results (November 27th, 2019): Sudden injury changes NXT Tag Title match, Adam Cole saves Finn Balor?

Both men do their signature poses, with Adam Cole right beside Balor but as soon as Balor puts down the finger guns, he hits a Pele kick to Cole. His alliance lies nowhere! Balor stands tall!

Adam Cole comes out to interfere and eats a straight right from Ciampa. Balor tries to take advantage but it isn't enough. He tries to use the title but fails. He slams Ciampa onto the title but it's 2! Adam Cole hits an enziguri and it allows Ciampa to hit the 1916 to pick up the win!

Balor gets a double-leg takedown and a stomp but isn't able to keep Ciampa out for long. Ciampa hits the air-raid crash from the second turnbuckle but only gets 2!

Balor gets back in the ring at the 9 count and eats a project Ciampa, only to kick out at 2.9999!

Balor starts the fightback and counters Ciampa before hitting a running dropkick into the barricade. He teases a 1916 on the ramp and Ciampa hits the air-raid crash onto Balor on the outside

Back Live on NXT, it's Balo who's in control of Ciampa. Ciampa fights back and clotheslines him down before being Irish-whipped into the ropes and kicked in. Ciampa measures Balor and hits a knee strike but it's only two

Ciampa tries to slam Balor on the outside but the Prince evades. What he doesn't, however, avoid, is being flung onto the ring post!

Tommaso Ciampa corners Balor and starts on the aggressive end of things.

Tommaso Ciampa vs Finn Balor is next!

Baszler says that she's heard this song and dance before. She says that she might be the nightmare, but she (Baszler) is the reality. She says that just like the others, she'll be tappin' or nappin'. Ripley challenges her to do it right now but Baszler retreats.

As she enters the ring to confront her, the three Horsewomen walk away. Ripley asks where she's running to. She tells Baszler that she wanted to talk to her face-to-face and Baszler obliges, returning. She congratulates her for her win over Becky Lynch and Bayley, but says that she couldn't do the same to her.

She says that the next time they do it, it's going to be for the NXT Women's Championship

Shayna Baszler says that without her, there would be nothing to celebrate without her. The NXT Universe loudly shouts" Rhea Ripley" and surely enough, the Australian comes out

Xia Lee takes care of business and finishes Borne with a kick to the back of the head, but Baszler, Shafir, and Duke stare on. Shafir and Duke start the attack but the Chinese star evades her. Baszler gets her from behind but Lee manages to fight her off too. Just as she seems to have eliminated the others but Baszler eventually gets the better of her. She then takes the mic

Vanessa Borne looks to get revenge for Xia Lee kicking Aliyah in the face. Nigel McGuiness seems outraged over it but doesn't seem to have an issue with Borne trying to kick Lee's face in. 3 of the 4 Horsewomen come out

Tozawa looking to end this. Rush raises his knees on time and climbs the ropes after playing possum. He hits a splash to the Japanese star's back and Rush hits The Final Hour to retain!

Lio Rush rebounds on the ropes and eats a snap suplex. Suplex #2 and it's still a kickout! How is he still alive?

Both men keep the match alive by getting in the ring before an official count out

The pace intensifies and so do the strikes. They're gunning each other down and so far, they're evenly matched and neutralized! "This is awesome" chants ringing through the crowd

Rush teases a powerbomb from the apron but Tozawa hits the senton on the apron!

They have a brief sign of sportsmanship before they catch each others' legs. Tozawa gets the better of the exchange afterward an Lio Rush runs right behind him

The match starts off high-paced but a stalemate happens right away

Just as she takes a steel chair and gets ready to end Candice LeRae, she has it kicked out of her hand by Rhea Ripley. The crowd goes bonkers as Dakota Kai makes her escape

She looks to end LeRae as she slams her against the steel steps and ring post

LeRae counters Kai time and again and locks in the Gargano-escape. Just as Kai tries to clutch the ropes LeRae rolls around but the Kiwi superstar escapes. Her suicide dive attempt leads to a DQ as Kai smacks her head with the knee brace

The back-and-forth continues on the second turnbuckle but LeRae reacts well and almost hits a sunset flip powerbomb. Kai reaches for the knee brace but LeRae is wise to it and evades before landing a powerbomb herself

LeRae begins the fightback with a snap takedown and then explodes with a jump onto Kai. It's only 2!

Dakota Kai is in complete control. She powerbombs LeRae but LeRae's shoulders just about stays up

LeRae is in control but only momentarily. Kai on the outside starts slamming LeRae's head against the ring apron (Did you know that's the hardest part of the ring?). Kai keeps LeRae's hands on the ropes and kicks her face

LeRae starts aggressive, with Kai leaving the ring. The Kiwi almost lands a headkick but LeRae evades and she hits a suicide dive instead.
