Okey dokey, friends. That was a pretty dang good TakeOver. I enjoyed it a lot. You?

Karrion Kross defeated Keith Lee to win the NXT Championship
Io Shirai defeated Dakota Kai to retain her NXT Women's Championship
Adam Cole defeated Pat McAfee
Damien Priest wins the ladder match for the NXT North American Championship
Finn Balor defeats Timothy Thatcher
Breezango become #1 Contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship

Anyway, enough rambling from me. Let's get those match results.

Plus, since I do the NXT Live Card every week, if Kross as champion means I get to see Scarlett do that lip syncing to his theme song entrance thing at least once a week, then who am I to complain.

I'm not trying to objectify the woman, I just think it's cool when she does that.

Let's be honest... it was TakeOver Thirty. It had to end with something major like that.

Do I think it was the right call? Not really? Am I going to throw a fit about it? Nah. Whatever. It's wrestling.

Whoa. Kross with a Doomsday Suplex off the second rope and... gets the win?

RESULT: Karrion Kross defeats Keith Lee to become NXT Champion

I like Kross a lot but if they give him the belt this early... that's dumb.

Lee with the Spirit Bomb! Kross still manages to kick out.

Ref does that whole "see if the arm drops three times" thing that was big in the 1980s and it doesn't drop the third time and now Lee has reached the ropes.

Kross sinches in the Kross Jacket, which is an awesome move and a stupid name for a move.

Kross with that Doomsday Suplex, but Keith STILL kicks out.

Did Scarlett hand Kross something?

No.

I should clearly turn in my Internet Wrestling Writer card.

It wasn't nearly as good as JBL's.

Kross with a Clothesline From Hell, which was impressive but... I can't believe I'm going to say this....

Kross goes for his Doomsday Saito Suplex but Lee is all "nuh uh" or something like that and hits him with a regular suplex.

Kross with an exhausted DDT and kick to the head (not in that order) but also only gets a 2.

Lee with a powerslam and a pin, but only gets a 2.

This has been a really good match.

Lee turns the armbar into a pin, and then a powerbomb.

Kross tries to get another armbar on Lee, but the champ has his hands clamped together.

Scarlett yelling "you're weak, Lee!" which, let's admit it, that's not very nice.

Lee charges, but crashes into the ring post. Cross goes for a pin and gets a 2.

Kross working on Lee's arm - an arm that got caught between the plexiglass and security wall.

Kross gets knocked out of the ring, but eventually gets control.

The challenger gets Lee against the plexiglass and goes for a punch - that lands right onto the plexiglass, as Lee dodges it. Lee turns his head slowly and glares at Kross.

Lee smashes the plastic panel in anger causing the plexiglass to come loose. Lee smirks at this, and even Kross finds it amusing.

First, the announcers call Lee and Dominik Dijakovic "rivals", then "friendly rivals" and now they're "best friends"?

Bell rings and Lee attacks immediately, as has been the running theme tonight.

Karrion Kross and Scarlett make their (admittedly amazing) entrance and, as it ends, the crowd gives it... polite applause?

Karrion Kross vs NXT Champion Keith Lee for said championship is up now.

Damien Priest is celebrating in a hot tub with some ladies - I'm guessing he has ladies and a hot tub on him at all times in case he needs to celebrate something suddenly?

Tomasso Ciampa returns to action this Wednesday.

Cesaro is in the crowd.

Looks like NXT UK is coming back.

When the mess is all clear, Io is in the ring celebrating with her belt. Ripley stands on the stages and glares at her, as if Io just cut in line in front of her at Chik-Fil-A.

Kai pulls Gonzalez out of the ring before the two can come to blows.

Raquel Gonzalez attacks Shirai after the pinfall, but Rhea Ripley hits the ring to make the save.

Shirai with a moonsault to the floor onto Kai and Gonzalez, then hits Kai with a solo one to get the 3 and the win.

RESULT: Io Shirai defeats Dakota Kai

Kai goes for that GTS but Io reverses it into a crossface. Ref is groggy, so Io just knees her in the face instead,
