WWE RAW Live Results (December 18, 2023): STUNNING finish in WWE Tag Title Main Event!

Thanks for following along with us for WWE RAW, folks! Next week is supposed to be a clip show highlighting the best of the year, which means the first RAW back will be Day 1 in two weeks.

R-Truth defeats JD McDonagh via pinfall in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight
Gunther defeats The Miz via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship
Kayden Carter & Katana Chance defeat Chelsea Green & Piper Niven to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles
Ivar defeats Akira Tozawa via pinfall in a singles match
Jey Uso defeats Ludwig Kaiser via pinfall in a singles match
Judgment Day defeats the Creed Bros via pinfall to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles

What an incredible main event! The Creeds were closer than anybody, minus Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes of course.

Brutus and Balor brawl to the floor, leaving an exhausted Julius and Damian Priest in the ring. Priest hits South of Heaven for the win!!

Judgment Day defeats The Creed Brothers via pinfall.

Brutus Ball connects again, this time to Priest! But Balor is in the perfect position for Coup de Grace, and lands right on Julius's spine!!

Julius and Brutus run wild, with Julius hitting a running Shooting Star on Balor! On the floor, Rhea attempts to attack Ivy Nile, but her challenger escapes and drops the Women's World Champion face-first on the apron!

Back inside, Brutus Ball connects, only for Priest to break up the pin!

Balor tags back in and is immediately taken down by a fresh Brutus. Luckily for Balor, Priest's long arms allow him to tag and make the save. A kick stuns Brutus, and Priest bowls him over the announce table!!

Rhea just avoids the launched Julius, laughing and telling commentary it was "too close."

Back from the break, The Creeds are dominating Finn Balor. A pair of double firemen carry mat slams and leaves Finn Balor writhing. He attempts to overpower Brutus, but that's not the best decision. Julius tags in for a double gut buster. Balor gets a little reprieve once Priest distracts the big man.

Señor Money in the Bank sends Julius into the steps, nearly taking out Rhea Ripley in the process.

The Creeds chase The Judgment Day to the floor as we hit the final commercial break of the night. Julius and Brutus dump Balor and Priest outside with a dropkick and clothesline, respectfully, and are riding a huge wave of momentum. This might be their night!

It's time for the main event, folks! The Creed Brothers with Ivy Nile take on Judgment Day (c) with Rhea Ripely for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship!

Backstage, Judgment Day is still laughing at JD McDonagh for his loss to R-Truth. Damian reminds him what the stipulation was. He's out of the Judgment Day. Rhea Ripley demands Priest calm down, and he does, saying he's OBVIOUSLY still in...

...for now.

Jey Uso Saves Christmas! Book it, Hallmark Channel!

Jey's superkick connects, but Giovanni Vinci breaks up the Uso Splash as the ref is distracted. Kofi Kingston runs down to take out Vinci with Trouble in Paradise.

As Ludwig is distracted, he's cut in half with the spear! Uso Splash! 1-2-3!!

Jey Uso defeats Ludwig Kaiser via pinfall.

Jey responds with an uppercut and the dragon whip heel kick. The running hip attack in the corner connects, taking Kaiser down for a two-count. He avoids the Samoan Drop and counters with a rolling Death Valley Driver, as Wade Barrett calls it, a Kaiser Roll.

Kaiser is currently mauling Jey, peppering the multi-time tag champion with a series of strikes. A nasty running uppercut on the floor nearly knocks Main Event Jey out cold as we cut to break.

This would be a huge win for Ludwig. That is...if he can actually pull it off.

Jey Uso is now in action against Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser in singles action. Let's see if Jey can send these fans home happy and knock off this Grinch!

Kofi Claus comes out before the WWE World Tag Team Title match to give gifts to the fans at ringside. He's attacked by Imperium, still fuming from the chewing they received from Gunther. Kofi's saved by a surprising face, his long-time rival Jey Uso!

Seth Rollins says that last week, he told CM Punk that he hated him to his face. He doesn't hate Drew, he pities him. He says Merry Christmas, and he'll see him at Day 1.

McIntyre goes off and attacks the World Heavyweight Champion. He picks up Seth and slings him into the steel steps with the inverted Alabama Slam!! Seth's arm seems to be injured!

Rollins says he understands that, but he's not sure how to feel about Drew right now. He's ready to do everything but the ONE thing he needs to do in order to be a world champion.

Drew McIntyre needs to take responsibility for his actions and know that he's the only one to blame for his failures. Not Seth. Not Jey Uso. Not even CM Punk.

Drew talks about the sacrifices that stars like them have to deal with. Their loved ones may be going through medical problems. Losing loved ones, loved ones who told them not to come back because they had a responsibility to the fans.

Drew says he doesn't want the title. He NEEDS it to know that his sacrifices and the hurt he caused his family were for something.

Drew McIntyre comes out and, oddly enough, praises Seth. He says he's proud of Seth for the way he handled CM Punk last week.

...that's unexpected.

Rollins promises to be the greatest World Heavyweight Champion in this industry, starting with Day One when he defeats Drew McIntyre to retain his belt.

With that match out of the way, we move on to Seth Rollins for the final hour of WWE RAW! The hometown hero is welcomed like...well...a hero! This crowd can't stop singing that song! The WWE World Heavyweight Champion thanks the Des Moines, Iowa crowd and says he's more motivated than he's ever been.

(Record scratch*) "Hey, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up here."

Tozawa chases Ivar back up the ring post, but the big man catches him as he goes for an avalanche frankensteiner.

Tozawa avoids the big splash off the top! He tears off his shirt and moves up for his Senton!!

Unfortunately, Valhalla interupts him, leading to Maxxine taking her off the apron. Tozawa hits an insanely high senton and nearly gets a win!

Ivar tosses Tozawa around with ease. He catches him mid-hurricanrana, but Tozawa manages to still send him face-first into the turnbuckle. Tozawa spikes the big man with a pop-up DDT!! Can Tozawa do this?

Tozawa runs into the corner and...is flattened immediately by Ivar. Well, it was a good try.

Natalya, Tegan Nox, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark meet each other, with both teams wanting to be first to challenge the new champions.

Next up is Akira Tozawa taking on Ivar. It's...probably gonna go as well as you think.

Kayden and Katana celebrate backstage and are met by Kofi Claus! Kofi asks what they want for Christmas, but they've gotten what they want already. The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles!

Great win for those women! They're incredibly fun to watch.

Chelsea goes for the Unprettier, but Kayden counters with the Codebreaker! They finish with The After Party! We've got new champions!!

Kayden Carter & Katana Chance defeats Chelsea Green & Piper Niven via pinfall.

Chelsea turns things around with the Rough Ryder, taking her husband's own move to get a near fall. A Codebreaker/senton combo from the champs nearly gets the win, but Katana Chance finally recovers and breaks it up.

Ater taking out Piper with a superkick, the Keg Stand connects!! 1-2-no!! Chelsea pulls Kayden off!

Back from the break, the challengers are on the hunt. Carter rolls off of Chelsea when Piper tries to break it up, leading to Piper splashing her own partner. A slingshot leg drop from Carter earns her a two-count.

Green tags out to Piper quickly, but even her size difference is no match for the speed of the challengers. A handspring facebuster and springboard dropkick takes out Piper, but Chelsea breaks up the finisher. Piper lands on BOTH of the challengers for a nearfall!!

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are out next as they defend their gold against the hot steppin' and partying Kayden Carter and Katana Chance!

WWE airs a short Trish Stratus package wishing the WWE Hall of Famer a Happy Birthday. We haven't seen Trish since late summer when she lost her feud with Becky Lynch and was left lying by Zoey Stark.

Nakamura and Nia really went low with their segments tonight. There's a lotta heat for these non-title feuds. RAW is hot now.

What's with wrestlers mentioning daughters tonight?

Cody attacks Nakamura backstage and drags him to ringside. He takes out security and looks to hit the Cross Rhodes on the announce table! Luckily for Nakamura, security saves him.
