WWE RAW Live Results (December 25th, 2023): Future Hall of Famer's LEGENDARY return

We, of course, are also shown the return of CM Punk, including live fan footage from the show as well as those reacting all across the globe. What an insane year of surprises it's been.

We've seen several matches from 2023 tonight. Which was your favorite of the bunch?

The spot where all of Team Cody hits Orton's draping DDT on the entire opposing team is pretty hilarious, as well.

If you get the chance, go back and watch that WarGames match when Randy actually shows up. Each individual member of Team Judgment Day, Drew included, have such different reactions. It's honestly very funny.

Survivor Series brought us some wild moments. Randy Orton's return, CM Punk's return...but the real strange part was Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins working together!

Randy Orton's return is highlighted. At Survivor Series, he was a part of Team Cody against Team Judgment Day. It's here we get the second half of the match, starting with Drew McIntyre tearing through Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins.

Jey says that his friendship with Cody goes back fifteen years and that he's happy to be reconnecting with him. Sami and he are close now, but it's a love-hate relationship where they can both get on each other's nerves. "Now I'm the one blowing up HIS phone."

Finally, he says there's a "Drew McIntyre" situation he needs to handle himself. It looks like Jey might interfere at Day1 next week.

Jey Uso is up next, and talks about his roller coaster of 2023. Leaving the Bloodline, walking away from his family, reuniting with a longtime friend Cody Rhodes and coming to RAW thanks to Rhodes and Sami Zayn.

Adam Pearce brings in Chelsea Green to show her a highlight video for her year. 2023 was a big year for her, but Pearce's video was all of her failures and worst moments.

It's a shame that Steel Cage match between Lynch and Stratus was removed so far from SummerSlam, where they were originally supposed to have their face-off. But at least we got it on RAW, and then the cage at Payback

Becky says that this match with Nia Jax is a long time coming and that she's owed Nia a receipt for a long time. She wants to prove that Nia didn't make her, but overcoming issues LIKE Nia did.

Finally, she praises her time with Trish Stratus and Lita earlier this year, which led to her tag title run with Lita as well as an exciting Becky/Trish rivalry. We're shown the steel cage match between Lynch and Stratus next.

Becky Lynch is interviewed next. She says that Seth Rollins is great at putting the gifts together, while she handles the buying and wrapping. She also wants to make sure Seth didn't claim to be the gift wrapper.

She speaks on her NXT run, being able to finally win the NXT Championship while also putting more eyes on some of the great talents down there. She also hints about possibly returning to the brand in 2024.

Cody beating Lesnar twice in one year was mentioned by Michael Cole during the original match. That is quite a rare feat. I wonder how many other WWE Superstars were able to accomplish that...

Cody and Lesnar tore each other to shreds over the course of the summer. I'm surprised there's anything left of the American Nightmare.

Cody and Jey had a..."libation" before the press conference

After the Cody interview, we're shown one of his matches with Brock Lesnar from this year. It was a fantastic three-match series, ending with the final bout at SummerSlam.

Cody talks about the Fastlane post-match scrum where he and Jey Uso had one of the funniest segments of the year. Cody says he loved it because it was unexpected, but hanging loose with Jey at the press conference was a special moment that he holds dear.

Cody mentions that the mist he was sprayed with by Shinsuke Nakamura reminded him of his childhood fear of The Great Muta. The WWE Hall of Famer used to terrorize his father, Dusty Rhodes, back in the day.

Cody Rhodes says that he's calling his shot. Back-to-back Royal Rumble winner in 2024.

The Tribal Chief isn't worried about a Phenomenal Challenger, a Sadistic Viper, or an Overrated Mega Star, AKA the three possible challengers for Reigns at Royal Rumble next month.

Paul mocks all of Roman's opponents this year, including his "good for nothing" cousin Jey Uso. It's despicable.

The biggest win, of course, came when he triumphed over John Cena. Heyman says that in 2024, there will be no difference. Except for, of course, it being a Leap Year. So we get ONE MORE day of Roman Reigns' reign!

Paul Heyman is on screen and would like us to honor Roman Reigns' 1212+ day reign on Christmas. It's official, folks, Christmas is now a Roman holiday.

Peter Rosenberg attempts to imitate Roman Reigns and says "Acknowledge Me" while sounding like Christian Bale as Batman.

Those chants for Gable were nearly deafening. I don't think any of us believed The Ring General's title reign was in danger more than in this match.

Sometimes I forget that Gunther does the Rhea Ripley pin. Who does it better?

Did anyone take the fight to Gunther like Chad Gable?

Gable's match against Gunther was BRUTAL, but Gable's heart won over the fans worldwide. Alpha Academy is so beloved now, and I think Gable played a large part in that.

The next match to be highlighted is Gunther's defense of the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable. Gunther's reign has been nothing short of exquisite, and one of the best matches of this year came on an episode of RAW.

They also get into the tag division, highlighting the tag matches between the Creeds, Judgment Day, Imperium, and Alpha Academy. But they let Judgment Day know that those titles, eventually, always come back home.

The Women's Evolution is mentioned next. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, but when they get to Chelsea Green, Kofi hushes Woods. Apparently, Adam Pearce has something planned for her tonight?

Bronson Reed, Ivar, and Grammy Award Winning artist Jellyroll make the Big Meaty Men Slapping Meat list.

The Bunny Destroyer, though, is a terrible name. Terrible call.

That match really was the epitome of what Sports Entertainment is. Fans were insane for every little moment. We got big returns like Carlito and Savio Vega, both of whom made the fans pop even louder than they already did. The two combatants fought as sons of Puerto Rico.

Might have been the best match of the year just from the energy alone.

Bad Bunny really took the fight to Priest in the San Juan Street Fight. He's earned the respect of the fans for sure.

We're shown the Backlash match of Bad Bunny and Damian Priest next. Bad Bunny's entrance was one for the ages, with the entire crowd rocking to his song "Chambea" beat for beat! It was incredible and must've been exhilarating live.
