ONE Championship set the tone for 2023 with an action-packed spectacle at ONE on Fight Night 6: Superbon vs. Allazov on Prime Video.

Sixteen warriors bared their hearts and souls inside the circle, much to the delight of the fans watching live inside Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, and millions tuning in around the world.

While each fighter did their best to deliver to the best of their abilities, there were three who separated themselves from the pack with iconic performances.

Here are three of the most impressive fighters at ONE on Fight Night 6.

#3. Aung La N Sang (catchweight 215 pounds)

Former two-division world champion Aung La N Sang prides himself in being the promotion’s “hitman”.

Simply put, the ‘Burmese Python’ is ready to throw down anywhere, anytime, against anyone. It wasn’t that long ago when pundits were writing Aung La off after losing his two golden straps and figuring in a rough skid.

The 37-year-old put those retirement talks to bed after back-to-back first-round knockout victories against tough opponents.

After dismantling Yushin Okami, Aung La laid waste to Gilberto Galvao.

Powered by the Burmese fans who made their way to Bangkok just to see him fight, Aung La delivered a flawless performance.

He clipped the BJJ specialist early with an uppercut and kept his foot on the gas pedal. A desperate Galvao did his darnedest to make it a grappling war by forcing a clinch.

The Brazilian met his demise shortly after, as Aung La battered him with sharp elbows that dropped him like a sack of potatoes.

‘The Burmese Python’ went straight to full mount and unloaded some punishing ground and pound to win by TKO.

#2. Mikey Musumeci (flyweight submission grappling)

Mikey Musumeci already bested two Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts in Masakazu Imanari and Cleber Sousa inside the circle.

The reigning flyweight submission grappling world champion added a Sambo specialist to his growing list of victims. The American grappling ace took on challenger Gantumur Bayanduuren in the latest installment of the BJJ vs. Sambo rivalry.

Musumeci once again showcased his innovative style by punishing the Mongolian’s right leg with his signature ‘Mikey Lock’.

Once the New Jersey native latched on to that modified heel hook, he never let go.

By Musumeci’s account, Bayanduuren’s knee popped around 20 times during their entire match. But somehow, someway, Bayanduuren willed through the pain and refused to tap.

While the challenger’s resilience is commendable, 'Darth Rigatoni' was just on a whole different level in terms of skill.

#1. Chingiz Allazov (ONE featherweight kickboxing world title fight)

While most pundits consider this match the mother of all upsets, there was no doubt in Chingiz Allazov’s mind that he would unseat the mighty Superbon Singha Mawynn.

When the lights shined the brightest, ‘Chinga’ showcased the fruits of his hard work and shocked the world.

Imagine facing the pound-for-pound best kickboxer on the planet in front of his hometown fans in his own backyard. Now that’s a tall order for anyone. The determined Allazov entered this match in the best shape of his life.

He dictated the tempo from the get-go, cutting down Superbon’s aura of invincibility bit by bit with his precise strikes.

By round two, Allazov had Superbon all figured out right where he wanted him.

‘Chinga’ dropped Superbon thrice, as his confidence grew with each knockdown.

The coup de grace finally came in the form of a terrifying right straight as Superbon violently crashed to the canvas.
