Newly crowned ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Chingiz Allazov was magnanimous in victory, showing respect to former titleholder Superbon Singha Mawynn following their headlining clash at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13 in Bangkok.

In a video posted by ONE Championship on Instagram, ‘Chinga’ is seen visiting Superbon backstage at Impact Arena to show respect to the dethroned champion.

Check out the video post below:

Chingiz Allazov was dominant in seizing the featherweight kickboxing world title. He showed tremendous punching power, which Superbon just could not handle on his way to a second-round knockout victory and a $50,000 performance bonus.

Following a relatively even opening round between the protagonists, Chingiz Allazov picked up the ante in the opening minute of the second round, initially dropping Superbon twice with massive right hands. Sensing that he already had his opponent on the ropes, ‘Chinga’ went for the finish from there, landing a huge overhand right that sent the Thai fighter to the mat for the third and final time.

Chingiz Allazov won the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing Grand Prix to earn a title shot against Superbon. Now the king of the division, he has made it known that he is only starting and is looking to add more titles from other sports and divisions.

Chingiz Allazov calls out Regian Eersel; eyes lightweight belts

Following his conquest of the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title, Chingiz Allazov is on the lookout for new challenges and targets, the topmost of which are the lightweight belts held by Regian ‘The Immortal’ Eersel.

Immediately after winning the featherweight gold over former champion Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13, ‘Chinga’ did not waste time in calling out Eersel for the lightweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles.

In his in-circle post-fight interview, Chingiz Allazov, who also won a US$50,000 performance bonus for his dominant win over Superbon, said:

“Thank you Mr. Chatri [Sityodtong], thank you ONE Championship and guys, you know, I like a second belt to go [with this] you know. Maybe I fight 77 kilos. This guy, I don’t know his name. Eersel, yes. Yes I like this, we will do this, go!"

Eersel has had four successful title defenses to date since becoming ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion in 2019. He became a two-sport champion in the promotion when he won the lightweight Muay Thai title in October last year at ONE on Prime Video 3 by defeating Sinsamut Klinmee by a split decision.

By going after the Eersel’s lightweight world titles, Allazov is looking to extend what has been an impressive winning streak that has seen him win the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix before emerging as the new featherweight king in the sport.
