#4. Daley punches Koscheck after the bell - UFC 113

Another memorable UFC post-fight moment came under different circumstances. Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley and Josh Koscheck had a lot of animosity heading into their bout at UFC 113. The bout served as a title-eliminator, with both fighters competing for the next title shot against then-UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

Koscheck utilized his wrestling to dominate the fight. He controlled Daley on the ground and left him with no opportunity to use his deadly striking. As the bout was nearing its end, it was a forgone conclusion that Koscheck would clearly be awarded the unanimous decision.

The bell sounded to end the fight and instead of congratulating Koscheck on the fight, he threw a punch that connected.

Referee Dan Miragliotta immediately grabbed Daley and stopped things from escalating further. That one moment would end up costing Daley his entire UFC career.

During the post-event press conference, UFC President Dana White was furious with what transpired and banned Daley from ever competing in the UFC. he said:

“I don't care if he fights in every show all over the world and becomes the best and everybody thinks he's the pound-for-pound best in the world. He will never fight in the UFC ever again. Done."

White has given second chances to fighters on many occasions, but he stuck to his word on this one. UFC 113 was the last time Daley ever competed in the UFC.

#3. Tito Ortiz calls out Chuck Liddell and Ken Shamrock – UFC 51

Tito Ortiz was one of the most popular fighters in the sport in his time. His rivalries with UFC Hall of Famers Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddell were some of the biggest in the sport. At UFC 51, Ortiz decided to use his post-fight interview to add another chapter to both of those rivalries.

Ortiz defeated former UFC light-heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort in the main event by a close split-decision. During his post-fight interview, he called out Shamrock and Liddell, who happened to be in attendance that night, to the octagon.

Liddell entered first, exchanged words with Ortiz and said he’d knock him out again in a rematch. Shamrock then entered with the intention of a confrontation.

Security prevented Shamrock from approaching Ortiz, but the two weren’t done there. Shamrock was interviewed outside the octagon before both he and Ortiz got into a back-and-forth with each other.
