The first fight on the Bellator Dublin card saw Frans Mlambo take on Dominique Wooding. Both fighters were coming into the event on the back of their first-ever wins at Bellator and they both had their intents set on making sure that they did not suffer a loss this time either.

Unfortunately, someone had to be the one to lose the fight, and in this case, it was Dominique Wooding.

They both went all 3 rounds as they looked to take advantage of each other's weaknesses. During the fight, Mlambo even suffered an injury when he was elbowing Wooding.

Though the second round saw Mlambo being dominated a little, he was still able to get back momentum in the third round and his kicks saw his opponent backing up as he was not ready for that level of offense.

Mlambo was taken down several times, but each time he made up for it by showering down shots on his opponent.

Results: Frans Mlambo defeated Dominique Wooding via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-28)

She was able to break through her opponent's defenses to lock in the Rear Naked Choke to pick up the submission win in the night.

The Straight Blash Gym in Ireland had seen their fighters be dominant for most of Bellator Dublin and Bellator 227. However, this luxury would not be afforded to them by Norbert Novenyl Jr.

The fight saw Fleury start well, but three big shots in the closing of the first round shook him. While Fleury tried his best to dominate with the help of some grappling offense, he was unable to do so as Novenyl's rights constantly landed for the rest of the fight.

Results: Norbert Novenyi Jr. defeated Will Fleury via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27)

Kiefer Crosbie was frustrated with the way Hugo Pereira put up a fight at Bellator 227. Before long into the third round, he was shouting at his opponent, trying to goad him into fighting in a better manner. Crosbie and Pereira had some big shot exchanges in the third round, and all throughout it was Crosbie who landed the decisive shots.

Pereira was able to take Crosbie's back for a while, but in the end, it was to no avail with the shots and elbows from Crosbie decided the contest in his favor.

Results: Kiefer Crosbie defeated Hugo Pereira via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

The main event of Bellator 227 saw Benson Henderson take on Myles Jury in quite the fight.

Myles Jury was making his debut in Bellator and was cowed by the former champion, as Henderson backed up Jury and continued to pelt him with strikes that saw him unable to get almost any offense in.

He mixed it up with shots to the body, legs, and the head of his opponent, to score a rather decisive win for himself in the fight.

Results: Benson Henderson defeated Myles Jury via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
