Brazilian MMA legend and former ONE Championship bantamweight king Bibiano Fernandes is gearing up for his 15th appearance inside the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4. A pro for over a decade, 'The Flash' knows his style is different.
Fernandes, the No. 3-ranked bantamweight contender, is slated to face No. 5-ranked rising contender Stephen Loman at ONE on Prime Video 4. The bout will serve as the Brazilian's first fight since losing his title to John Lineker.
The 42-year-old recently spoke to The MMA Superfan about what happens to his opponents once they're locked inside the circle with him:
"My style is different. Before, when I competed in jiu-jitsu, people said ‘Oh I’m not afraid to fight Bibiano.’ But after they go into my game, they don’t want to go back in there. They say ‘Oh f*ck, I don’t want to fight this guy in his game.'"

Bibiano Fernandes focused on getting his belt back
Fernandes re-acquired his belt once and he plans to do it again. After originally losing his belt to Kevin Belingon, 'The Flash' snatched his belt back in their immediate rematch.
The Brazilian didn't earn an immediate rematch after losing to Lineker, but he could receive one with an impressive win over Loman. Fernandes sat down with ONE to reveal his mindset following the loss:
“Since the defeat, I've been training a lot. I also focused on my business and my family, and I did an MMA event in Manaus, but I've been training a lot. I made several adjustments, and I'm ready to fight on November 18. The fight with Lineker was a good experience. I hadn't fought for many years, and I didn't have a fight rhythm. But now, I'm trained and focused for my next challenge.”
Fernandes returned from a lengthy layoff to fight Lineker, which may have caused some rust. Expect to see a few adjustments from the former champ in his upcoming bout.
Be sure to watch Bibiano Fernandes grace the circle on November 18 at ONE on Prime Video 4 against rising contender Stephen Loman, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
