It appears as though Jared Gordon is set to have a new opponent at UFC Vegas 74 on June 3, and it will certainly be a tough test.

According to MMA Underground's John Morgan, Gordon was intially scheduled to fight Lufovit Klein. However, he was forced to withdraw from the event and so, veteran Jim Miller will step in his place. Miller is looking to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Alexander Hernandez this past February.

Prior to the loss, 'A-10' was riding a three-fight winning streak that included victories over Erick Gonzalez, Nikolas Motta, and Donald Cerrone. It was an impressive stretch for the 39-year-old as he finished all three opponents in the second round.

'Flash', on the other hand, is coming off a no-contest with Bobby Green this past April. The fight was stopped after the two lightweight vets accidentally clashed heads, which forced an end to the fight.

Prior to the 34-year-old's no-contest with Green, he was coming off a controversial unanimous decision loss to Paddy Pimblett.

Will Jared Gordon pursue a rematch with Paddy Pimblett?

Jared Gordon has been constatly linked to a rematch with Paddy Pimblett since their fight this past December at UFC 282.

The result was controversial as many believed that 'The Baddy' should have lost the fight. In the months that followed, there seemed to be an attempt to book a rematch in order to capitalize on the backlash from the outcome.

Pimblett was unable to accept an immediate rematch if it were to be offered because he required surgery. He is expected to be out of action for the time being, so it will be interesting if 'Flash' calls out 'The Baddy' should he defeat Jim Miller at UFC Vegas 74.
