The Professional Fighters League has made a major announcement regarding its latest high-profile appointment as Dan Hardy, a former UFC veteran, is set to take on the role of Director of Fighter Operations for PFL Europe.

This exciting news means that Hardy will be responsible for leading the fighter operations division and playing a crucial role in overseeing and managing the organization's European talent.

With his extensive experience in the world of mixed martial arts, Hardy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the PFL. As Director of Fighter Operations, he will be responsible for driving the growth and development of PFL Europe, working closely with fighters to help them achieve their goals, and ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of the MMA industry.

Dan Hardy, a well-known UFC analyst and commentator, was dismissed from his role by both the UFC and BT Sport. The decision came after an incident in Abu Dhabi, where Hardy got into an argument with a female employee. 'The Outlaw', who was a key member of the commentary team and the BT Sport network for many years, was responsible for play-by-play duties for numerous European cards and was a regular on "Fight Island" during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, his outburst in July 2020, where he screamed at referee Herb Dean to stop a fight between Francisco Trinaldo and Jai Herbert, had already put him in hot water with the UFC. Trinaldo rained down blows on a finished Herbert, and Dan Hardy's reaction was seen as inappropriate by many in the promotion.
