#3. Conor McGregor wants to reignite Nate Diaz rivalry after "burying" another former opponent

There's no doubt in Conor McGregor's mind that he'll fight Nate Diaz again in the near future.

The Irish superstar claimed, however, that he will revisit the rivalry after finishing his business with Dustin Poirier. On Twitter, McGregor responded to Poirier's jabs by expressing his intention to return to the UFC to fight 'The Diamond' again.

Diaz also joined the conversation by insulting both McGregor and Poirier.

At that point, 'The Notorious' added that he's also coming for Diaz, once he's done with Poirier:

#2. Zhang Weili says superfight vs. Valentina Shevchenko is a "must"

Zhang Weili recently confirmed that she's interested in fighting Valentina Shevchenko, stating that she intends to move up to flyweight to fight the champion.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Zhang was asked for her thoughts on facing the flyweight champ in the future. The UFC strawweight champion responded:

"Yeah. It’s a must, for sure, no question. I thought about this a couple of years back, eventually we would run into each other in the octagon because the weight divisions were so close... It will be a great performance, regardless of the outcome."

#1. Welterweight veteran agrees to replace Robbie Lawler at UFC 282

Robbie Lawler has pulled out of his welterweight bout against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 282. Fortunately, veteran Alex Morono stepped up to save the day.

The matchup was first reported by David Van Auken and was later confirmed by MMA Junkie from various sources with insider information.

Morono agreed to fight Ponzinibbio at a catchweight of 180 pounds on the UFC 282 main card following Lawler's withdrawal just five days before the scheduled clash. The former welterweight champ pulled out due to an undisclosed injury.
