"A brilliant matchup" - Danial Williams bares excitement for Denis Puric-Elias Mahmoudi pairing at ONE Fight Night 26

Danial Williams expects nothing short of an all-out war when renowned strikers Denis Puric and Elias Mahmoudi meet at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Speaking exclusively with Sportskeeda MMA, the three-sport ONE athlete shared his thoughts on the flyweight Muay Thai bout between Puric and Mahmoudi:

"Another awesome fight. That's a brilliant matchup. Elias, man, he's hectic. He's a big flyweight too, all-around. And then, yeah, you got Puric. So durable. Both won't give up. But one will eventually have to give up to what pressure and style the other brings."

Puric is coming off a heated three-round kickboxing battle with former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon in June, where he showcased the strength of his chin at 39 years old.

Meanwhile, 'The Sniper' claimed the biggest victory of his career yet when he pulled off a last-second knockout of Taiki Naito at ONE Fight Night 24 this past August.

With Puric's granite chin and Mahmoudi's newfound knockout power set to clash at ONE Fight Night 26, Williams, alongside the fans, has every reason to be excited about their flyweight Muay Thai encounter.

Danial Williams praises ONE Fight Night 26 opponent

Danial Williams is also preparing to strut his stuff at ONE Fight Night 26, where Thongpoon PK Saenchai will welcome him back to ONE's Muay Thai ranks for the first time since April 2021.

'Mini T' pointed out what makes Thongpoon a dangerous opponent in a separate interview with Sportskeeda MMA:

"I think he really did prove a point throughout ONE Friday Fights. One of the standout fighters there. Solid chin, power, and everything else. As an opponent, I think, like I mentioned earlier, just the perfect guy I need to dance with."
