Everyone is looking forward to the heavy-handed war in the ONE on Prime Video 3 main event between ONE bantamweight world champion John Lineker and No.2-ranked challenger Fabricio Andrade.

The fighters of ONE Championship are handing down their predictions for the highly anticipated main event. That includes undefeated heavyweight star Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the 17-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion delivered his prediction for the U.S. primetime showdown, although ‘Buchecha’ may be a little biased when picking a winner...

“It's a fight that all the fans will like to see because it will be pure striking. It's that fight where you're anxious to see who's going to go down first. But as I said, it will be a struggle, but I'm rooting for Fabrício, who is a great friend of mine.”

As Marcus Almeida said, this fight will be a striker’s delight with two knockout artists throwing leather and seeking a highlight-reel finish on ONE’s biggest stage.

Both fighters will step into the circle on Friday night with spotless records under the ONE banner. What’s more impressive is that both fighters have three knockouts in their last three outings, all but guaranteeing that this world title clash does not go the distance.

John Lineker open to taking on Demetrious Johnson in a ONE Championship superfight

While ‘Hands of Stone’ has his hands full with the always dangerous Fabricio Andrade at ONE on Prime Video 3, John Lineker is looking at potential dream matchups against the best of the best in ONE Championship.

This includes a potential meeting with ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson. Asked about a hypothetical meeting between the two, John Lineker told ONE:

“It would be a very interesting fight. Of course, at a catchweight, because I can't get to 61 kilograms. But at a catchweight, it would be a very interesting fight. I would really enjoy this fight and I'm sure the fans will too."

Demetrious Johnson captured his first ONE world title in the ONE on Prime Video 1 headliner, delivering a brutal flying knee to former champion Adriano Moraes in the fourth round of their epic rematch. The two first met at ONE on TNT 1, with Moraes becoming the first man to knock out Johnson.

Though nothing has been confirmed, many suspect a trilogy bout between the two is on the horizon.
