Stephen Loman has been eagerly waiting for his chance to fight ONE Championship legend Bibiano ‘The Flash’ Fernandes.

After waiting patiently, ‘The Sniper’ will get his shot at the former bantamweight world champion when the two step into the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18. The event is free and available to North American audiences with a Prime Video subscription.

Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of the potential bantamweight world title eliminator, ‘The Sniper’ shared his excitement to finally get the fight that has seemingly passed him by time and time again:

“In the past, I thought I was going to be matched up with him, but that didn’t happen. So for sure, my excitement for that match is still there.”

Stephen Loman enters the bout with an undefeated record in ONE Championship, but taking on Bibiano Fernandes will be a significant jump in competition for ‘The Sniper’.

‘The Flash’ hopes to stay relevant in the bantamweight world title picture following a brutal knockout loss to John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker at ONE: Lights Out earlier this year. It was only the second time that Fernandes had lost inside the circle and the first time he had been finished.

Stephen Loman ready for a world title fight after ONE on Prime Video 4

Stephen Loman is 100 percent focused on getting the biggest win of his career against one of the most tenured fighters in ONE Championship history.

Should he walk out of the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 18 with another W, ‘The Sniper’ suspects a bantamweight title fight will be in his future:

"I believe that winning this will give me a chance to contend for a world title in ONE, which would be another goal to reach. I’m determined to face all these ranked opponents so that I can prove myself worthy to challenge for that world championship."

Of course, before we can consider who the number one contender for the bantamweight crown is, we will have to have a bantamweight world champion.

Following the events of ONE on Prime Video 3 between former champion John Lineker and No. 1 contender Fabricio Andrade, the promotion is left with a vacancy to be filled.

Will Stephen Loman get the biggest win of his career, or will Bibiano Fernandes get back into the title hunt at the expense of ‘The Sniper’ on November 18? Find out when the event is broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers.
