After trip to Asia, Demetrious Johnson excited to return home to finish his gaming desk

Demetrious Johnson was in the booth calling the action for ONE Fight Night 6 hosted in Bangkok, Thailand. Even when flying around the world, though, the ONE flyweight world champion is focused on one of his favorite hobbies; video games.

Demetrious Johnson could hardly contain his excitement when he spoke in an interview with SCMP MMA's Nicolas Atkin. An avid gamer, 'Mighty Mouse' explained how excited he was to complete his new gaming desk:

"I’m staying in my hotel room and I’m looking up how to finish my gaming desk, my table. It’s a red sequoia edge. I’m just trying to figure out how to finish it. It’s already been to the sander, gritted, it’s ready to go. I just need to finish something on top."

'Mighty Mouse' added:

"There's a couple of cracks on one side and I was talking to my wife and trying to see how big the cracks are. I’m trying to do epoxy on it. I’m like, I just ordered a quart of it."

Even being thousands of miles away from home, he is still contemplating his next move:

"Am I going to do epoxy on top of it? What am I going to do exactly on it? I’m just searching on YouTube get all those knowledge. When I get home I’ll get back to work."

Demetrious Johnson's fight on May 5

Demetrious Johnson will soon be prepping for his upcoming battle at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, which has been booked for May 5. This historic event will be the first ONE Championship fight card to be hosted in the USA.

Johnson will put his ONE flyweight throne on the line against his rival; Adriano Moraes. The two have traded knockouts against one another and their series is tied 1 to 1. On May 5, live on Amazon Prime Video, they will finish their highly anticipated trilogy.

On Instagram, 'Mighty Mouse' shared how excited he was for the upcoming fight.

"Next stop [USA] boooiiisss Johnson vs Moraes III on [Prime Video]."
