Dominance MMA founder Ali Abdelaziz recently posed the idea of having two bonafide legends of the sport fight one another at Eagle FC.

The Russian MMA promotion was founded by UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2020. Former UFC fighters Diego Sanchez and Kevin Lee have both competed for the promotion.

Following Mark Hunt's impressive KO victory over Sonny Bill Williams in Sydney, Ali Abdelaziz proposed that Hunt take on Fedor Emelianenko next. Abdelaziz took to Twitter and asked fans what they think of the fight:

"Who want to see mark hunt vs Fedor @TeamKhabib"

However exciting a potential fight between the two would be, it is unlikely to happen. Mark Hunt announced that he would be retiring from combat sports following his victory over Williams.

It's possible that Ali Abdelaziz was not aware of Hunt's retirement plans.

Ali Abdelaziz says that Henry Cejudo is more than deserving of a bantamweight title shot

Ali Abdelaziz has come to the defense of one of his highest profile clients, former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo.

Abdelaziz manages some of the biggest names in all of MMA, such as Kamaru Usman and Islam Makhachev. The MMA agent recently took to Twitter to make a case for Cejudo to get the next title shot against bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling:

"135lbs division I respect all these top contenders they are all killers, but if anybody say @HenryCejudo doesn’t deserve it they are out of their mind, he won two titles in two different divisions and smashed everybody when he comes back"

See the tweet below:

'Triple C' quote-tweeted the post and said:

"My brother, I’m hungrier than ever! They will bend the knee! andnew"

Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling have traded words online following the champion's recent victory over TJ Dillashaw at UFC 280.

'Funk Master' said that if 'Triple C' is desperate for a title shot, he will have to wait until 2023.

Cejudo replied by stating that the champion is "scared":

"Hey @danawhite this dude is straight up scared! I fought DJ, TJ and Marlon Moraes who knocked him out cold in round 1, all in 10 months. When I retired I never held up the division, you had my pink slip on that Monday."
